Wow. For the past year I for sure thought we wouldn't get back to the quality of trucks we had a few years back, but this is the first time in a year that I actually went through every page in SYP. Just incredible progression. Well done everyone. Really showing the quality we have as a community to out do many others. I don't think I ever seen such smooth paints before in a such a constant manner from different users. I'm just amazed!

I got burned out from this place a long time ago, honestly it's more on me though. But since I kept taking so many tasks that it eventually felt like more of a job then a fun hobby. Sucks I was advancing in ways I never thought would, now I can't even open blender for 30 seconds before closing it again. Join the club buddy, that makes what 5 now? Sucks but everyone is moving on

No need to get mad, he didn't bash you, he didn't insult you he just said what you did. If he is wrong you could just tell him he's wrong but not go off and tell him to make a truck. The real question here is he wrong? Or did you actually finish what someone else started?  And actually until you actually create more than 80% of the parts on you're own as in Model them, texture them, and place them, (Which only a few here can do) then you aren't doing much of a difference he is by just placing parts. Hell even if those top creators said that to another member, all it makes us look is like a jackas.s anyway, so there is no point.

If you're gonna do any modifications regarding tires or rim on Max-D you have to keep the rims I originally put on the truck, Max-D does not run the rims you have put on because of the ZF axles he runs under the truck. The rims I put are the only rims that work for the truck. 

You can clearly see the difference just off this picture.

RoR has been slowly dying for awhile now but this site doesn't have to die too but it will if everyone keeps fighting over meaningless things. It doesn't just have to be a monster truck or RoR specific community. You'll never be able to please everyone so if you can't take any form of criticism whether it's warranted or not then you shouldn't be making content anywhere. You earn respect over time and you also lose it, I didn't see anyone be singled out but some of you always seem to think it applies to you when it doesn't. All of the useless arguments on here are why most of us rarely log in or don't even care if the game dies off completely anymore.

TL;DR: If you like it then you shouldn't care what others think since you didn't make it for them anyway.

To add on to what RKM said, please take criticism as helpful tips, well from the guys that usually know what they're talking about. We don't comment to make you feel like its bad, its just parts than can be swapped or paints to be remade to make the truck look better and more accurate. We don't ask you to do things you can't do, when know YOU can make those changes. There is no need to take offense to criticism if it does in the end help your project look better. Some of you need to stop being stubborn and take the advice once in awhile. I'm not joking here, If you can't take criticism on this site. You're gonna hate your life when you need to work for yourself or other companies when they offer you advice on what you can do better. Because you will either ignore then get fired or talked to because they are telling you ways to get better and you aren't doing tit, or B, you can take it make yourself better and carry on with your life. Simple as that.

Edy fern has a point. What I've seen from people is OLD projects that havnt been touched since the last time it shown here. so it was a worthless post to begin with. If he updated it then that's different. but since it hasnt been touched and he's asking to do bring it back when he already has 100 things on him is pointless.

Obviously you do care that you are making so many things at once since you end rushing them and then get annoyed when people point out the mistakes edy. Take your damn time. 

And if all you are gonna do is come back just to nag on everyone else for no reason, then don't bother posting. You seem to have started the last 2 or 3 arguments on SYP, again for no reason. Just because you got upset over a post someone put? Come on man, grow up.

Look, edy is also right, but no need to rage on this.
This is a game. It's a hobby. No one should be forced to rush out content to make others happy. This is made for you not for them. Yes take your time, but if you are gonna do that, don't start other projects. That time spent on the new truck or track, could have been used to finish the first project and you know... Get stuff done. Edy isn't wrong, I just disagree with the way he worded it out. I'm the same way but, I've dealt with the consequence.

Making trucks aren't as fast as easy as you think......

Making a mediocre truck is one thing. (Now some of you are learning so it's ok, I started the same way.)

But when you know what you're doing, it's gonna take some time.... Quality over Quantity. Simple as that.

You want to make one really good truck? Welp, you're setting yourself to atleast 2-4 weeks full of work.

• Making models/editing old ones in a good way. (Shocks, Axles, Knuckles, Rims, Tires, Fuel Cell, Cab Parts, Trans, Gearbox, extra chassis parts, etc.)
• Getting everything textures with it's own name so it doesn't conflict.
• Testing every model to make sure it fits and looks right.
• Lining everything up 1 by 1. You do 1 4link, get it right, then move the next, and etc. (This usually takes the longest)
• Giving everything the right spec maps, texture sizes, and making sure everything shows up in game.
• Body Model
• Painting the body
• Aligning the body to the chassis (Trucks are more fun when you can take the body off, and just drive a chassis)
• Testing the truck for errors
• Shock tuning
• Making sure everything is at its own name and that you aren't replacing someone's files
• MAKING SURE EVERY FILE IS IN THE FOLDER SO EVERYONE HAS EVERYTHING (MOST ANNOYING PART)

Might be more stuff, but as a truck maker myself, it takes time. And im sorry to say it, you start getting annoyed sometimes because you always try to make the next truck better than the other, and that means more details, which means more time spent working on it. But honestly, you get such a huge sigh of relief and such a proud feeling when you finish the truck, because you know you put a lot of effort on to getting it done. It's not easy, but man it's crazy what we can do with just a computer.

And also, the first truck always takes the longest. Once you get the hang of it, you can really make some trucks fast, but still look good. 

Wild Thang took about 4 weeks.

Heavy Hitter and River Rat took 3 weeks, and that's 2 trucks. But it was easier because I was able to re-use some parts since they run similar pieces.

Did you really make julio look like an as.s? I mean he is, but this is a new low edy.

You know, I never realized how spoiled you people are. You people are like those spoiled rich brats that just want everything that in the end will only use it once or twice in their whole life. Seriously acting like rich snobs.

You should all be grateful you got people like Edy, Fern, Kozak, Mark, Me, Chadwick, Aaron, Zonar, etc... Making all this high quality content for free. We spend many hours on these trucks/ tracks to get that detail right, many of you won't know that because you guys can't model nor have the patience like some of us do. Now I'm not saying the rest of the content is mediocre, I get many people here are getting into making trucks, but there's a reason people only beg and ask for the content from Members who have an eye for detail or have been doing this for years. One realistic truck alone can take up 2-4 weeks of countless hours, that's me literally spending my weekend (12-17 hours) working on it constantly. I'm not gonna spend my life making these things. I do this as a hobby for me to enjoy. One of the reasons I got burned out was because I stopped taking it as a hobby and more of a job. And I hated it.

I'm at a moment in my life when I'm about to finish high school. I'm currently in a U-19 Soccer club training my as.s off hoping I can get into semi-pro to maybe pro in soccer. So now I barely have time to be on here making content. I'm painting Pirate's Curse, but that might take awhile because I'm not gonna sit here and ignore my personal life to paint a 3d body for a game. I just got sideswiped 2 days ago and my car got damaged, the frame got bent, my insurance is gonna go up now, and guess who has to get another job to pay for it? Oh but no, let me fulfill these spoiled brats first and put my life second.

I've never been so disappointed in a community before, (not even a community, more like a kindergarten classroom) This site was not like this back in 2011-2012. Back when everyone for the most part was mature, hell I can't say much because I got banned for asking for stuff. But guess what I learned from it. I stopped asking for crap and if I wanted trucks made for me, I MADE THEM, I LEARNED, AND NOW LOOK HOW FAR I GOT. All you people just want to be fed, you're all babies here, you can't do anything to advance the community without the core content creators. This site will die when the content creators leave.Why? Because everyone is too lazy to make their own trucks. I get some people just aren't that into it to make content. But if you're gonna be that person, AT LEAST BE PATIENT AND DON'T ANNOY THE SH!T OUT OF CONTENT CREATORS AND RUIN EVERY DAMN SYP THREAD ABOUT WHEN CONTENT WILL BE OUT, OR WHERE YOU CAN GET IT.
