    I started with photoshop. But went to paint.net since it expired. I'd probably try photoshop again later in time.

    To the rest of you, going, "I can't make trucks as good as you, or I can't model bodies as nice as sheets, etc," 3 of us just stated it took us 3-4 years to get where we are now, and that's from starting from scratch. That and we all started off with mediocre models and paint when we first started. I want you guys to not get discouraged. Use one for the top content creators projects as your goal to get to. Not something you can't do.

    One thing that is true is what kozak said, with a bunch of the people who are trying, getting shunned for only doing like a tire change or something. Which is a big no no especially when some people who call them out don't even make content themselves... funny thing is you guys don't realize that 1 tire swap in a truck is how you start. My first ever project was ripping some MTM2 tire textures, and putting them on nitro circus. I didn't do anything other than that, and yeah I got shunned for taking a texture and all, but that's how you start.

    Also, some of you stopped because of errors. Have you tried making a post on here, on what it could be? Or did you just get frustrated and gave up? If not also make threads on the issues. That's what the help section is for!

    When I get home I'm gonna make a list of tutorials that are made, and ones we need,after that's settled we can continue on from then. I'm also gonna get in contact with the big content creators so we can get together to make more parts and tutorials avalable. Glad to see a lot of you interested in this. This is only the beginning!

    Alright guys, this has been getting me for awhile now but now I see it as a perfect time to say it.

    Right now, the content released with great excitement/accuracy in trucks and tracks is coming out of the following people; Danny Mackey, Aaron Lurie, Tharindu Don, Mark Colineri,Edy Beltran, wambo, Chadwick Deerfoot, John Dough Fernbern, Diggetfan, Nicholas Kozak, myself and a few others.

    Some of you guys are starting to make content... while the rest of the community is relying on the names above to make the content they want. Which is very disappointing to see. As it goes now, once all the names listed above leave, what's gonna happen to the community? We are gonna go back to step 1 in the days of v3 when it comes to detail and complexity of trucks and tracks. And to be honest I'd rather not see this place die when I leave or the names leave. Now some of the names will stay, but either way this community shouldn't rely on them for content.

    It's time for more people to step up,and learn how to make trucks and tracks. I want to see this place like how it was 2 years ago. When we had about 10 people not 2 making up to date tracks, or 15 people not 4 making trucks. This community is gonna really fall back if we keep it as it is.

    And you guys can't say we don't have tutorials on how to make trucks/ tracks... a lot of it is there, it's you guys that have to take the time to read and learn. Now we don't have every tutorial needed, but we can make them. We can uplate old ones to make them more up to date, we can do everything needed to make this community advance. We just got to take the time and effort to make it happen. I realize the start is gonna be rough in terms of models, and quality of content. But that's alright! No one on this site is gonna get any model,any paint, any setting of the trucks or tracks right on the 1st attempt. It's all about trial and error, and using your mistakes to advance in your work. Hell,it took me 3 years to get where I am. But that's from learning from scratch. You guys will learn it faster with the tutorials.

    We all need to work together guys. You can't keep relying on us anymore. If you learn and advance in given time, you can make your favorite truck or track. And you'll be more proud of it because you made it.

    I'm on a phone right now. But I will update this and put all needed tutorials so we can see it. I want this place to advance. Now tell me, why aren't you guys learning? Some are. Which is great but it's barely anyone. Most projects on SYP comes out of 15 members at most. That's pretty small for a community with 2000+ members.

    Tell me what we're missing and I'll try to make sure we have it so people can learn from it. We have to work together guys. It won't be easy, and it will take some time, but the end result will be worth it.

    Sway Bar Links, and Sway Bar Arms aligned! Now I can finally start the chassis work and it will be done! 

    Also remade the tires, and gave it new mega shocks (everything aligns to all the parts that it should! )

     

    I'd like to point out, there is an issue with the front sway bar links, in which they don't work properly. It's been a problem since like v3 but yea. I'm gonna do my best to figure a solution but if not. sorry!

    Major update for wild thang.

     

    Gave it a new axle and knuckle, with a few parts. (New Tierod, Hydrolic)

    Made my first ever set of tires for it! (Thanks to crazyman444 for teaching me on how to make tires)

    And the 4links connect to the axle properly! (Probably the first truck I have ever done with actually lining up stuff this accurately haha)

    Also has rotating driveshaft with a new driveshaft model.

    Now I gotta make a new driveshaft, and then i can finally start putting the truck together. (I KNOW THAT DRIVESHAFT IS UGLY AND WARPED)

    Everything else that is white is just there to see how everything would place before I model the real parts.

    A Farewell to everyone

    Damn Chris, takes a lot of mental strength to agree to do something like this. But either way it's gonna make you a stronger person, your gonna go through stuff a lot of us might not go through, making you stronger and faster than all of us. It's been great knowing ya man. From the beginning since I first knew about ya when you drove Batman in Sim-Monsters Season 2, to when you started making trucks. I remember us being a bit competitive with each other when it came to trucks, especially at the times we would both end up making the same truck haha. But either way you advanced a lot in your paint/ truck making skills, something  not many people here could do either, while most give up, or don't push themselves to achieve higher things. It was great racing with you, talking with you, and knowing you. I'm gonna miss you man, I wish you the best of luck to your future, and thank you for letting me be your friend. Stay strong in the marines, never misjudge yourself, just give it your all and you'll make it through! Best of luck Chris!
