  2. Will the shows be ran back to back?

15 minute break after Show #1, then things will go back into intros.

Also, I have came up with some rules as far as racing goes, as the track is pretty narrow. We are trying to limit the amount of wheel to wheel contact to be realistic as possible.

    - Both trucks need to stay in their own lane without going across the white center line, you can touch the white center line. I realize there could be a little bit of wheel to wheel contact with both trucks touching the line, there isn't much to do about that with how narrow the track is.

    - A DQ will be given to the driver/truck who goes farther into the other lane, and if needed, whoever crosses first.

Lastly, even though it says it in the thread title, this event is Thursday, the 21st.

  3. Not in this one, but will be around if you need a fill-in driver :) i also have a question.. it says up on top there is a DJ? Does that mean we get to pick our own songs?

Doubtful there will be a DJ for this event. In any event when there is a DJ (which is usually what I'll be doing), I will pick the song of what the truck runs in real life or something that fits the truck.

Also guys, this is a two show event.

  4. I assume if you're not announcing or running music like you or Travis, the server version is the one you get, right?

Yes, get the Windows client version 32 or 64 bit (unless you have a Mac lol). I will be using a server version.

  5. Sorry for asking another question that may sound stupid, but are we required to have Teamspeak? If so, is there a way to get it free?

    http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads

It's not "required", but it is preferred, I will be playing actual event music, introductions will be done in Teamspeak, and a drivers meeting. Some events will also have announcing in Teamspeak.

If you have ever ran my events, you will know that I try to stick to my schedule as close as possible or faster, my goal is to get done events quick as possible with great show flow & that requires cooperation from all racers involved.

  7. i know this may be a dumb question but for the events will we need to have our game name the same as the real life driver or just our personal name?

Real life driver name, sorry I didn't post that in the thread I was going to edit that into the general rules.

  8. I believe that this has been asked before, but I don't think it got an official answer. Will all competitors and trucks be in the server at once? I know that that would lag most of the competitors very much, and would get irritating. Thanks

No, I will have 4-6 in-game. I might try filing in many as possible for intros, just because lag isn't a big deal for introductions.

  10. Just so everyone is aware, any shows that I am running may need to be changed to an earlier day in that week which can very on my school and work schedule.

Here is the events Travis is running.

    Week 1 - Reno, NV

    Week 2 - Springfield, MO

    Week 3 - Springfield, IL

Week 4 - Virginia Beach, VA

    Week 5 - Jonesboro, IL

    Week 6 - Englishtown, NJ

    Week 7 - Wildwood, NJ

    Week 8 - Indianapolis, IN

  11. One event should be good enough for me. No guarantee of me making any of the others I tried booking. Always on standby as a fill-in if needed, Auz.

I actually sent you a PM about that, related to another league.. lol

    im not in any :(

You had to send in bookings to get events. I had a booking thread up for 2-3 weeks.

  12. Why do I (Captain USA) have so many weekends off? I only drive 5.

Basically everyone is driving 5-6 shows... sorry, but that's how it is with so many people racing and not enough events.  Those who didn't get 5-6 are fill-in priorities, then I will open fill-ins to people who are available at the time of event.

  13. Great line ups, I know it must have been hard to organise that but im slightly annoyed that I only got 3 shows. I was hoping to do good in this league but there's no chance of that now.

Your on the priority fill-in list, which is basically if someone drops out your first in line to replace them. I guarantee you will get your 5-6 shows like everyone else.

  14. First off, I want to thank everyone for sending in bookings. However, I will say though that basically nobody was able to get all 8 shows except myself and Travis who run the events. Most everyone got 5-6 shows, a couple only had 3-4 shows and they will be given fill-in priority ahead of everyone so they can get their shows. I tried evening out shows so everyone had an equal amount, but that was almost an impossible task. However, I think everyone has a balanced schedule with an equal amount of shows.
