Remember, Chico was weighted a little bit more, fields with 12 trucks or more will mean a little bit more in the points. Here is an explanation on the points system, I tried to keep it simple yet weighted as fair as possible. If there's any issues with points, please post if I made a mistake, etc.

  4. I would be interested... but I doubt I have much time anymore (aside from Fridays & Saturdays) working full time & going to school

  5. Here is what I think I will do for Chico points wise.

    1. Bounty Hunter - 3 Points (Stop winning Mark, lol)

    2. Excaliber - 2 Points

    2. Rockstar - 2 Points

    4. Stone Crusher - 1 Point

Ice Cream does not get any points in freestyle because it was 5th.

  6. Points will be up a little bit later toinght.

Just as input before I do the points, I need to add some rules regarding ties. For example, Rockstar & Excaliber tied for 2nd place in Chico with a 26. Should I give them both 2nd place points, or add up 2nd place points and 3rd place points (which would add up to 3) and divide that by 2 so they would each get 1.50 points? In addition to that, should I give Ice Cream Man 4th place points even though he was 5th best finishing freestyle but had 4th best score?

Any input would be appreciated on that. Also, another rule I will be adding for the points is that tiebreakers in the final standings will be decided by total number of wins & second place finishes.

  7. With little news regarding the finale event for the CFMTS Grand Nationals this year, CFMTS owner Auz Grams decided to give some information regarding the event... The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway has historically put on some of the best monster truck shows in the US, with some of the most innovative and unique courses ever imagined. For the CFMTS Grand Nationals, that will be no different, as the event will have one of best race courses ever seen. The CFMTS Grand Nationals is expected to be a dog fight, and here is some information & facts about the event.

    6733E3DE-A532-1F07-12A0D917D713B598_250x

    When: May 2nd & 3rd, 2013 (Tentatively)

Where: The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway - Concord ,NC

To end the CFMTS season, the event will feature the 12 trucks in the CFMTS overall points, and in addition to that the event will have 4 trucks trying to race their way in, instead of just qualifying their way in, all of the trucks not qualified for the CFMTS Grand Nationals will race their way into the top 4. The event will be a double points event and will decide over $100 in purse money. The Grand Nationals itself will have a $20 prize for racing & freestyle, respectively. In addition to that, CFMTS is thinking about the possibility of holding a tough truck challenge on the night of the qualifying entry race.

With one week in the books, the favorites to head to Charlotte and battle it out for the title appear to be the Team Scream Racing team, Jim Creten & Bounty Hunter, Bill Payne & Rockstar, and Allen Pezo in Predator. But there are guys you can not count out, with trucks such as Excaliber, Raminator, Iron Outlaw, and the famed BIGFOOT #19 machine looking to make their names, along with many many more.

With all that said, everyone better get all the points they can, because the race for the CFMTS Championships will be a dog fight. The Road to the CFMTS Grand Nationals starts NOW!

  10. Yeah, big thanks to Roach & Mark who helped me out running things. And to everyone else involved who endured what I felt like was way too long of an event for my standards. Albeit this is not the same type of game when I first ran CFMTS, I think the speedyness of the show could be a bit better on my end. It was still a fun event though. Congrats to the winners.

  11. How does Sunday Night at 6:00 PM EST chat start for everyone? The main reason behind the postponement was due to the fact that Chico ran 45 minutes late due to some ROR issues, longer than I expected. I figured it wasn't fair to the racers involved to wait another hour in an event that might have went past some people's bed times. However, these issues won't be as big of a problem next week.

  12. Solid show in Chico! Here's your winners, full recap posted tomorrow...

Wheelie Contest Winner - Razin Kane

    Racing Winner - Bounty Hunter

    Freestyle Winner - Bounty Hunter

Again, thanks for everyone who came out and endured a little bit too long of shows, we had some ROR technical issues and other issues, but it was a solid show.
