So just sold my 96 Pathfinder i had sitting in the driveway and looking to buy something a little newer. Going to finance it and looking to stay around $10,000 or less. Currently have a list of about 5 cars or so im actively looking at and was wondering what peoples opinions on them were. I do a lot of my own maintenance when possible so that keeps the cost to maintain them all down a bit.
Theres 2 cars on the list i like that are usually out of my price range but sometimes see one pop up in my price range. All cars im looking at are Manual transmissions.Usually Out of Price range
2010 Chevy Camaro Base (Always liked them since this generation went into production. See them not to much over what im hoping to budget myself to and sometimes see them right at or right under budget)
2009 Nissan 370Z (Probably favorite car on the list but very hard to find in my price range without leaving the state)
Cars in my price range
2003-2004 BMW Z4 3.0 (cheapest insurance i have got a quote for and one of the cheaper cars to buy with pretty good millage. also probably second favorite car on the list)
2003-2004 Nissan 350Z (Always liked them and very reliable.)
Infinity G35/early G37 (Infintiy version of the G35 Skyline)
2005-2006 Nissan Xterra (probably my favorite SUV but hold their value even with high millage making it a little harder to find one in my price range that doesnt have 150K+ miles on it.
The Z4 and the 350Z i really like both of and are probably the 2 of the list im really looking at the most since i can find them easily in my price range but the 350Z cost a little more each month to insure over the Z4

Crushable cars would be great on any track but older ones where you actually come in contact with the cars often would be a lot of fun.

Well i run with a Logitech G27 on RoR 39.5 and was wondering what some good force feedback settings were. right now i run with none because everytime i try it it either gets so stiff i cant even turn the wheel or it goes crazy and the wheel rocks back and forth whenever the truck is moving. Looking for settings where say i land a little onto 1 side it kinda pulls the wheel that way a little bit or if i land on 1 wheel it pulls the wheel that way without like ripping its self off my desk. Thanks

I enjoy seeing Diggers get updated especially ones no longer in use. While other people are working on other trucks i enjoy seeing the diggers all redone or made by 1-2 people since they all can handle a little differently so its nice to have not just different trucks but ones where not each one feels exactly the same as another of the same name in the game

Start of the month. When the bill is due each month to keep the site up it will some months go down for a few hours to a day or so during the first few days of the month untill its paid. No big deal happens just about every month

DIgger 32 looks great. Would be fun to rock a digger with Coils other then the DIgger 20 released on here a while back

Didnt RoR support the shifting LEDs on the Logitech G27 or did they get rid of them in newer builds?
-
I have mine extracted into a folder in the Vehicles folder then just extract all addons into that folder

Yup thats what im talking about. Im assuming its just the trailer step up that hasnt been placed in its correct position yet?
-
i know thats their but in the pic its in the middle of the track it looks like. Unless its just the angle or the obstacle is just not placed yet.

I started this, i don't care about the stadium model, i'm god damn remaking World Finals 11
Definitely needs remade but whats up with the step up in the center? dont recall anything being their in WF11

just open the config it tells you the version. But as far as what version its all up to preference. 37 is what everything is made for but 39.5 is a little more optimized and looks a little better but a few trucks have some issues but not to many. Any version you want can be found here http://sourceforge.net/projects/rigsofrods/files/rigsofrods/

the freezing sounds like RoR 4.XX. It happens for me as well. Plus the tracks from here wont work on 4.XX anyways since it uses a different terrain file. The tracks here work up to 39.XX and lower

DOnt know if anything had changed or not but i asked him about the whole shock setup back in January and he said the coils would be making a return at some point and the all nitrogens were just temporary. But why use that digger body

Rear Steer is Vehicle Command 1 and 2

Ill hopefully have my gaming rig built so ill probably get it. Especially if its gonna feature Az

For RoR i found about 360 degrees rotation im liking so far just really need to get use to the wheel and being able to quickly turn the wheel one handed while using my other hand for shifting and rear steer. For Key Map im using a mix of one on the repo and marks that a friend of mine put together for him and sent me to try. For all other games im running 900 Degrees rotation and for both games i have a little forcefeed back on but not enough to rip the wheel out of my hand or anything. As for setting up RFactor controls i was trying to set them up ingame.

So on this past Wednesday or Thursday i finally went out and bought me a Logitech G27 wheel. I was seeing if anyone had any tips on driving with it with the Monster Trucks? Also On RFactor it kept registering as 1 button was being held down all the time and every time i tried to set a control it kept setting it the button it was reading as always being pushed.

Edit: Just realized its in the PC forum so im out as of right now

From sources i have heard and have seen the Swansons post about it on Facebook Tony has passed away. I dont want to spread rumors before the family says something offiicial if they do but at a 4x4 event a drunk started doing dougnuts in his lifted truck and ran over Tonys son and a few other people and Tony tried to stop him and got hit in the process. RIP Tony a legend in the sport

SO WF14,15, and 16 are in the works now. WF16 is becoming a summer project and WF14 and 15 Klayton is a busy guy so i wouldnt be surprised if they dont get finished at all if not any time soon.

If i go the Z4 route the maintenance cost would be lower because i do all my own work when possible. The early 2000s Z4s have pretty basic motors without all the computers and sensors on them so its not as complicated as other BMWs. We have a 2008 328i as well so i know when they need work parts cost a little more and oil changes are not cheap. The Xterra i like but the issue with those is you have to jump on them the moment they pop up for sale to get one with decent milage for a good price. Most 2005-2006 Xterras with less then 100K miles is usually $10K or more. Im also not a crazy driver like most teens so im not really worried about police attention especially since most cops in my area are pretty cool.
