  1. It is true that the odd electronic gremlin pops up during other types of racing that uses EFI. Another strange thing is the extra cost of adapting the current engines to use the EFI systems in a time when NASCAR has been taking all kinds of efforts to reduce costs for teams and level the playing field. The carburetors used in NASCAR have been developed for so long that from the outside they only resemble the Holleys the average car nut can buy over the counter.

  2. According to NASCAR they are going to be ported systems supplied by Holley with handout throttle bodies and tamperproof ECUs. As for tuning, depending on how many channels of data NASCAR will allow the teams to download, all they will have to do is plug into the system and adjust curves in the mapping program.

  3. I had a tricked out T-Maxx a few years ago and I won't get another nitro truck. The cost of fuel is getting insane, especially when you can get a reasonably priced lipo/brushless set up and keep up with nitro.

    and just an update as of last night right after i posted this thread. you know Dave Radzierez was selling his airdog truck on ebay and over on mayhem. well after a couple discussions and a few numbers being pounded out. i will now be bringing that baby home with me hopefully soon. so now we have a truck to go with these tires we picked up. ill post more pics when we have the truck in our posession, gotta go to pennsylvania to get it.
