  1. Its been a few years since I last streamed, and I decided to get back into it.

  3. I had always wanted to build a model railroad layout but I never really got into it. About 3 months ago I finally began working on my layout in my basement. The tabletop is a 4' by 8' plywood board with 1 inch think foam board on top. Some of the track, which is Bachman EZ Track, came with the original set. I had to purchase additional track to fill in around the rest of the table. The set that the track came with is the HO Scale Bachman Throughbred which includes an old Norfolk Southern locomotive and some Norfolk Southern train cars along with a caboose. The layout currently has DC power on it, but I ordered a DCC power pack and controller earlier this week which will allow me to control multiple trains at once. The set is currently a work in progress as you can see from the pictures. I am in the process of filling the outside of the track with ground cover, which is Woodland Scenics brand. Also the big hole in the foam will eventually be a lake.  The interior of the track will feature a road and a town with 6 buildings. Eventually I will finish the landscape off with bushes and trees. Is anyone else in interested in model railroading? It would be nice to collaborate.

  4. As Blair said, there really is no way to interpret sarcasm while reading. You do not hear the tone of someones voice when reading over a post, so everything is taken as it says.

I've thought about this, and it's a longshot and can probably have holes poked in it but here's my new plan:

1- No one under 13 can judge
Sorry kids, but it has to be someone who can see more than just the pretty trucks and cool crashes

2- They have to take a test or something to prove they're knowledgeable of the sport
Basically before you can be selected to judge you have to complete a quiz of various things and know-how about Monster Jam. One shot only, once it's done it's done. If the score is good enough then they can be selected

3- If bias is to be believed their scores are invalidated
Basically if someone in a Digger shirt scores low for everyone but Digger, or if it was that one asshole at Anaheim 3 who gave low scores to piss everyone off then their scores for every run is invalidated and an official judge in case of situations like this will bring in their scores

Yeah it's half baked as all hell, basically we need a better process for selecting judges

What would be on the test?
