  2. I've seen a lot of newer guys not really set these up correctly, so here is a quick guide.

    1. State the track that is going to be used, and provide the link to it.

    2. Post what date and time the fun run is going to be ran on and what time the AIM chat goes up at. Also include which time zone you are referencing these times from.

    3. Include how you want people to sign up for your fun run, whether only replicas trucks, only customs, or both. A good format is:
    Name:

    AIM:

    Truck: (Link if needed)

    4. Also include information on how racers gain a spot in the fun run, whether first-come first-serve spots or qualifying in. Include further information if there is going to be qualifying. Also Include what the maximum amount of signups is.

If anyone wants to add something to this, feel free to. I hope this helps out some newer guys.

  4. Oh man. I really enjoyed just talking to you about various topics, whether Rigs of Rods, monster trucks, or just other things in life. I appreciated how you would listen to my blabbering and you would also respond without a negative response to it. I felt like if I knew you in real life, we would get along great. Some memories I have with you include racing you in the championship race of MROR S1 San Antonio and the RORMJ truck fun run last year with Dylan. It really makes me sad to read your wrap-up because I feel the same way about this site and to some specific people. The content that you made is some of the best out there, and it really brought more to the game. The fact that you took time to convert every single V4 truck to a .38 truck shows me that you were dedicated to making the ROR monster truck experience better for everyone. I hope you really enjoy all of the stops along your path to becoming a U.S. marine and what ever else happens in life. Good bye, Chris!

  5. One comes to mind, turning the Monster Truck Racing sport into a circus act. Monster truck racing should be an alternative to NASCAR and Drag Racing, not something that's an alternative to saturday morning cartoons but its just my opinion. guess im too old for what it has become. #GetOffMyLawn

At arena shows I feel like its a circus (considering they had people on pogo sticks as a side act in Washington.) However, at stadium shows I mostly feel like I am at an actual motor sporting event.

  6. Just some of my input. To run a league you really have to want to do it. You have to have a consistent time slot sometime where you are always free. You also have to assemble a team of helpers who are also available. Running a league is a lot more hard work then it might seem like at first. There are problems that sometimes arise that you don't even think would happen until they actually do. It requires tons of planning and organization. You also have to make sure that you have a computer than can handle a lot at once. Not one that is going to lock up, lag, and shut down. Running leagues is just not meant for some people, like me. I tried to run a league, ROR:MD, but all of the multi-tasking, sitting on the computer for hours on end, and trying to quickly resolve problems wasn't really enjoyable for me. I found that I wasn't able to keep events flowing in a fast manor if a problem arose. These are just my experiences, they could be different for you.

  7. Its pretty (f*cking) ridiculous that they let the trucks run well after they rolled. Like Neil at this years World Finals. He rolled over, hes done. At least they are going to cut back on it, or at least they are saying they are.

I 100% agree. Its pissing me off that the concept of the rollover in some trucks is going away. You roll, you are done. Its honestly a lot cooler to see someone saving it on the side rather than mashing the throttle until they flip back over.
