I have a logitech controller, i initially installed ROR .38, and used a keymap off the webiste, and everything works great, i then wanted to try in .37, loaded the same keymap but in .37 when i turn the front wheels(using left anaolog stick on controller) the wheels turn very slowly, nothing like in .38, so does anyone know what i'm missing here?

Hello everyone, i'm Jason Fontaine, from north alabama, i got into rigs of rods about a year ago, but about a month into it my computer goofed up and i couldn't continue playing. As of 2 days ago i'm back in the loop playing. I'm very interested in joining a league and having some fun playing with you guys. I'm pretty free to play anytime as i work from home now. Anyways just saying hello and hope to see some of you guys online, and if anyone knows which leagues are fixing to start up or run a season let me know.

ok..your V3 zip file is in the packs folder...double click on the zip file and it opens it up and you see all the files...on your desktop you have whatever zip files of trucks...double click and open that up..so now you have two winzip running...and it shows all the files...drag the truck files ones into the v3 folder

thanks to everyone who helped me out..everything is working for me now..raptor..try downloading winzip or winrar....i was using some program called 7 zip but it would nt transfer zip files to another zip folder correctly

I'm with you raptor..my tracks work fine..the V3 truck pack works..but when i try to add any other custom trucks..or the ones from the patch..and try to select them from the list in the game..i get an error it reads something like this: OGRE Exceptions Could not find Material GraveDiggered flare in Billboard Sett :: Set Material name at ..\..\Ogre Main\Src\OgreBillboardset.epp(line 312) can anyone help me..what am i doing wrong?

i'm having the exact same problem..i have teh v3 zip file in the packs foler of rigs and rods, then i have teh zip file of the patch..it won't let me put a zip file into another zip file..it won't let me extract files to another zip file...i too have messed around with the the cache and regen deal, and it does teh same thing as raptor said...when i hit regen it goes threw like its reloading all the files..then bugs out!.....so i think..like raptor.were a little unclear how this works..is there somewhere where theres a detailed process about doing this?? also..a week ago i was able to get on the sm monster multipler servers...the first night i played by myself for about 30 min then fell asleep.when i work up another guy had come in.and tried chatting with me.ended up saying he was gona boot me..what i'm getting at is the past 2 days i am not seing the server when i hit update..has it been up..or somehow am i blocked from it??? if anyone can help me in more detailed fashion please hit me up on AIM at - JasFon426

how do you get the patch files to work..i have the smpack zip in the packs folder..but when i do the same with the patch folder they aren't working?

Yep i got the password...i also found that i had to download version .37 not .38..still not having any luck with rear steering or using the throttle while turning...i talked to a few people on aim tonight..and thanks to the guys who answered my questions....if i can't get the keyboard to work correctly looks like i will be looking for a xbox controller..seems thats what all the pros here use.

Hello everyone, my name is Jason Fontaine..i just like the previous post am new here and just in aw...have always been looking for a "real simulater" for monster trucks..the console games are just too childish(urban assault etc) so i am pumped to get here..i downloaded a few tracks and the newest truck pack. Trying to get used to the controls...i see lot of guys use controllers for the game if i'm correct? whats the best controller to use, and can a ps3 controller be used on the ps? I have a couple questions about driving the truck. 1st..i duno if its me..or if theres a setting but i cannot accelerate while turning..its either hit the gas while not turning the wheels or turn the wheels but no gas? Also i just read where theres rear wheel steering..i thought i read where it was F1 and F2.but those don't turn the rear wheels when i use it..am i missing something? Also i see videos on youtube of multiple trucks on the track..is this just for multiplayer? Thanks to anyone that answers and just excited to find my way here to the world or real monster trucks!
