  1. a '71 Celica? Wow, that is a classic! I can imagine parts'd be hard to come by. Do they allow engine swaps? a 4A-GE might not be as hard to come by as far as parts go, though the drift scene has eaten quite a few...

nope, everything has to be stock, some idiot ran it into a pole, so got it from a tow action for just over $100, didn't know it was the first year for the celica, or toyotas first sportish attempt,

  2. got a car to race on the local dirt track, 71 toyota celica for the 4-cylinder division. just to get my feet wet, but turns out parts for a 71 celica are hard as hell to come by, wanna get a 4-wheel drive truck throw a roll cage in it and destroy it at the tuff trucks for the fair this year. but real life has been a pain, so those are all on my to do list,

  3. That's because he's usually screwed out of going to Vegas because he either

    A. Didn't have his own truck or "full-time" ride

    B. Drove the 2nd (or 3rd truck if you count the Grinders) of the same name

Sure I'll tick off some people but face it guys Seasock is NOT a freestyler at all, Lupe is not a racer; Krmel is both of those. I also HATE how 90% of Lupe's fs runs are him just trying to flip the truck and getting a good score for it.

point taken, and a very good point it is

  4. If anyone deserves to drive Grinder in Vegas...It's Krmel, not Lupe or Seasock...I have my reasons for my opinion.

not sure ur reasons, I bet they are good and all, but.... Krmel is the only one without a championship under his belt

  5. right, him

mabye i'm just overthinking him, but from what i've seen on televised events, he's crazy, snapping the rear wheels off at Huston and rolling the Rotty endover elsewhere.

not a fan of overdoing the mutt body, but I just saw him live, and his throttle control is really cool, makes it sound more alive,

wanna see Farrel there, and Frankish,

  6. Interested to see how Bayne does after the 500 win.

Nationwide race will be one by a cup-regular (no surprise).

Watch Edwards and Hamlin (they dominated the last race there).

how many races will bayne be running now? I haven't heard, (actually just read that he will be racing in nationwide, however, still not sure if he is making many, if any more cup starts)

and isn't there a new points rule in nationwide, trying to slow down the cuo guyz?

  7. lol, more fun, heck yah, and on the big tracks I completely agree, but it was nice to be able to turn away from the wall, at Chicago, if its more realistic, I really don't know, not sure I ever will, but I'm not making the tracks, so I won't complain, that was cool, good to hear opinions, (the people agree'in with u say alot)

  8. I think you guys should relax. The truck doesn't look that bad at all.

I finally got Ethans track to work (*cough .38) and I must say its a rather nice track. I loooove arenas so this one is an A in my book. Though I do not like the modified grip level at all. I like the tracks where you need actual skill to drive on and need to use the throttle to make it go where you want. With grip hack tracks anyone can turn on a dime and it really doesn't show anyones true skill level in the game. It's not a challenge and therefore to me its no fun if it isn't. Regardless its a nice track and the effort put in to it shows.

see I find that interesting, because first off, I always thought the modified grip was harder, just cause it is so easy to put on its lid, secondly, kinda frustrating when I watched my local arena a couple days ago thinking, ok, they can turn well, with no throttle, why can't i? I understand the low grip is how u want to drive, and I'm fine with that, I'm just curious whats gonna make it the most realistic, not arguing, just my point of view, and curious as to what u think of it

  9. ok, I watched as much of the stream as my schedule would allow, and heres what I gotta say. I can deal with the feed going offline on random moments, because I get to be apart of something that is real, this is hardly some dumb game, my example being, FS watching Dig's run, the momentum waas fantastic, and not 2 trucks later trying to see gunslinger hold onto the points title, and having such bad luck (I feel for ya I really do) but to me it felt just like when I watched avenger try to defend his title in 04, and the truck just died after 3-4 hits... just the disappointment, it really imo was a very cool, event, something I got to be apart of, getting to know peoples styles, interact with them, this is really amazing, imo, yes the chat/noob stuff sucks on live.. but thats why I watch it full screen, was blown away, u guyz put on a hell of a show... and this last saturday night I actually saw Monster jam, thanks for keeping the excitment alive

  10. And Dig are we livestreaming this? Aslong as it starts after 7:30 eastern i can do the feed.

I have no clue if he wants it live, however in the KOTH rules thread he said

""Lastly, all King of the Hill events will be held on Friday nights. The chat will open at 7:45est/6:45cst time and the drivers meeting will start at the top of the hour.""
