  1. When I first saw the Young Guns Shootout lineup I was a bit disappointed at first at the fact of Mike Harper in Outlaw not being in the lineup. But then I realized there are 2 more spots left in the main World Finals lineup, so who knows, maybe another deserving independent in the main World Finals lineup. As for who I think will win the Young Guns Shootout I am choosing Mike Vaters Jr. in Overkill Evolution. Derick Anson in Heavy Hitter is my backup pick.
  2. Dan Rodoni is one of those great monster truck drivers that most people don't know about. I'm truly happy that Dan is in the main lineup, that means yet another independent's time to shine. Me personally, the more independents the better.
  3. I was expecting Devin to be in the Young Guns Shootout again this year, this definitely shocked me. I am indeed proud of Devin getting this opportunity, he well deserves it.
  4. Did you go to the Saturday shows only because I went to the Sunday show only. If you only went to those shows then that's why I more than likely did not see you there. I have been to just about every single monster truck show in Wildwood, NJ ever since it started back in I believe 1997. I’ve been to a few 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals in Bloomsburg, PA in the 1990’s, I just don’t remember the years because I was a very little kid and I don’t remember much from those times. I’ve also been to a few monster truck shows in the 1990’s in my hometown of Philadelphia, PA when the Spectrum was still standing and they were held there, and again I do not remember the years. This list below is of monster truck shows that I went to from 2004 (the farthest back I can actually remember going to these shows) up to now 2014. 2004: Monster Jam - Philadelphia, PA Thunder On The Beach - Wildwood, NJ 2005: Monster Jam - Philadelphia, PA Thunder On The Beach - Wildwood, NJ 2006: Monster Jam - Philadelphia, PA Thunder On The Beach - Wildwood, NJ 2007: Thunder On The Beach - Wildwood, NJ 2008: Thunder On The Beach - Wildwood, NJ 2009: Thunder On The Beach - Wildwood, NJ 2010: 'Advance Auto Parts' Monster Jam - Philadelphia, PA Thunder On The Beach - Wildwood, NJ 2011: 'Advance Auto Parts' Monster Jam - Philadelphia, PA Monster Truck Thrill Show - Plymouth Meeting, PA Thunder On The Beach - Wildwood, NJ 2012: 'Advance Auto Parts' Monster Jam World Finals 13 - Las Vegas, NV Monster Truck Thrill Show - Plymouth Meeting, PA 'Advance Auto Parts' Monster Jam Path Of Destruction - Philadelphia, PA Beach Monster Mash - Wildwood, NJ 2013: NJ Monster Truck Beach Nationals - Wildwood, NJ 'Advance Auto Parts' Monster Jam - Philadelphia, PA 2014: Monster Jam - Trenton, NJ (Upcoming Show) Monster Jam World Finals 15 - Las Vegas, NV (Upcoming Show) Monster Truck Thrill Show - Plymouth Meeting, PA (Upcoming Show) Monster Jam - Philadelphia, PA (at the Wells Fargo Center or Lincoln Financial Field, whichever the event is held at this year) (Upcoming Show) Monster Truck Beach Nationals - Wildwood, NJ
  5. Rod has actually improved his driving ever since he got behind the wheel of Monster Mutt Rottweiler. All those years of driving Grave Digger and now Monster Mutt Rottweiler have paid off. I hope Rod does well for his first time at the World Finals when I see him there.
  6. So with Marc McDonald in El Toro Loco for this years World Finals, where does that leave Lupe Soza? Will FELD do just like what they did with Grinder at the previous World Finals, Marc McDonald in racing and Lupe Soza in freestyle?
  7. I found the perfect Jim Ross commentary for that crash right here. Go to 2:30 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEXwCO8n3Dg
  8. I must say Rosalee was hitting the van stack with some force. I am also impressed with the air she was getting. Also with the new Bigfoot #18 paint design, it looks really neat. I can't believe it's been 25 years with Bigfoot for Dan. He is no doubt one of monster trucks all time great's, and in my opinion (no disrespect to Dan) the 2nd best Bigfoot driver of all time. I have Andy Brass at #1.
  9. Scott Beutow is in the Monster Jam World Finals lineup. Now it makes me wonder if Neil Elliot is in this years Wold Finals lineup, what monster truck will he drive because he normally drives Hot Wheels.
  10. Here is Steven Thompson in Hurricane Force with an amazing freestyle run from Monster Jam in Orlando, FL last night. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvEmWDkYGs0
  11. I can already see Saigon Shaker being a beast of a monster truck when I first see it with the completed body. Also, here's another video of Saigon Shaker being tested: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=497734857011571
  12. I honestly think Donald should of had a stock pile of the 1970's Chevy body, about 3 of them i'd say, just in case something like this happened.
  13. I would like to add 1 other con for Monster Jam to mason67's list. That con being FELD's creation of some very bad and very cartoonish bodies. Here are the bodies I am talking about. Monster Mutt Monster Mutt Dalmatian Monster Mutt Rottweiler Zombie Scooby-Doo El Diablo (this year's redesign) Super Hero Trucks (I am 50 for 50 with them)
  14. I just noticed this from looking through a photo gallery from this past weekend's Monster Jam show in Houston, TX. It appears Scott Beutow has a new CRD chassis for 'Team Hot Wheels' Firestorm.
  15. Well here is the lineup I would like to see for Monster Jam World Finals 15. 1. Grave Digger (Dennis Anderson) 2. Maximum Destruction (Tom Meents) 3. Grave Digger The Legend (Adam Anderson) 4. Avenger (Jim Koehler) 5. El Toro Loco (Lupe Soza) 6. Monster Energy (Damon Bradshaw) 7. Batman (John Seasock) 8. Northern Nightmare (Cam McQueen) 9. Blue Thunder (Pablo Huffaker) 10. Monster Mutt (Charlie Pauken) 11. Bounty Hunter (Jimmy Creten) 12. Madusa 13. Son-Uva Digger (Ryan Anderson) 14. 'Lucas Oil' Crusader (Lindsey Weenk) 15. Mohawk Warrior (George Balhan) 16. Stone Crusher (Steve Simms) 17.Captain's Curse (Alex Blackwell) 18. El Diablo (Marc McDonald) 19. New Earth Authority (Carl Van Horn) 20. Metal Mulisha (Todd Leduc) 21. Captain America (Chad Fortune) 22. 'Team Hot Wheels' Firestorm (Scott Beutow) 23. Man Of Steel (John Zimmer) 24. Spider-man (Bari Musawwir) 25. 'Fox Sports 1' Cleatus (Neil Elliot) 26. Iron Man (Lee O'Donnell) 27. Dragon's Breath (Becky McDonough) 28. Titan (Donald Epidendio) 29. Wolverine (Chad Tingler) 30. Zombie (Morgan Kane) 31. Monster Mutt Dalmatian (Candice Jolly) 32. Young Guns Shootout Winner Here is also the lineup I would like to see for the 2014 Young Guns Shootout. 1. Monster Mutt Dalmatian (Taryn Laskey) 2. Outlaw (Mike Harper) 3. Wrecking Crew (Steve Koehler) 4. Mohawk Warrior (BJ Johnson) 5. Heavy Hitter (Derick Anson) 6. Monster Energy (Coty Saucier) 7. Hooked (Steven Simms Jr.) 8. Overkill Evolution (Mikey Vaters II) 9. Iron Man (Dustin Brown) 10. Monster Mutt Rottweiler (Rod Schmidt) 11. Barbarian (Devin Jones) 12. Crushstation (Greg Winchenbach)
  16. Other than the wreck, I also thought Jim Koehler trying to save Avenger in that position for that long was amazing.
  17. Thanks Lookey2000 for the information. I just installed DirectX and Rigs of Rods now works.
  18. Hello, I just had a new hard drive put into my laptop computer. Everything works normal and runs functionally. I installed Rigs of Rods 0.37.117 from the link that was posted in the "Software" page of the "Downloads" section and installed it the way the directions told me to. Whenever I open up the Configurator to try and play Rigs of Rods the Configurator opens up for a split second and then closes out on it's own. Does anyone have and reason why this could be happening and also how to fix this problem? Any suggestions and reasons will be very helpful to me. Thank You
  19. You don't have to but if you want to that would be nice.
  20. Hello everyone, with the year 2013 coming to an end I thought it would be nice to see what everyone thought the best of the best was with monster trucks this year. Categories like freestyle of the year, team of the year, save of the year, driver of the year, etc. I don't have my definitive list comprised yet but here are many categories to talk about. If you want you can even give a description of why you think a particular event or person should win in a certain category. Race Of The Year: Freestyle Of The Year: Show Of The Year: Team Of The Year: Truck Of The Year: Driver Of The Year: Crew Person Of The Year: Save Of The Year: Crash Of The Year: Wow Factor Of The Year: Donut Of The Year: Wheelie Of The Year: Big Air Of The Year: If you have any other categories you want to add, feel free to add them to your post and talk about them.
  21. Well my Lancaster guy has out done himself again. This is indeed a beautiful beast. I am very much proud of what Zane and Lindsey were able to create here. I will be going to the Monster Jam show in Trenton, NJ a few weeks from now to see this beast in person on it's first weekend out. See you at the January 4, 2013 2:00pm show Zane. I actually think if it had a set of blue beadlocks and a set of Ecoworks Ukraine tires it would have a much meaner stance in my opinion.
  22. Now this means the only FELD driver that doesn't have a monster truck set for him yet is Frank Krmel. Seeing how the fan voted monster truck has not been released yet I would not be surprised if Frank Krmel is the driver of that monster truck. And also seeing what was chosen for the fan voted monster truck last year (Zombie) I don't really have any high hopes for what is chosen this year.
  23. At 0:44, I mean just a wicked blast through the RV. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUKvILwTa-M That's one thing I miss when it comes to monster trucks and RV's. Today at Monster Jam shows for example the monster trucks go up a set of cars and drive on top of the RV and smash it down. Back in the early and mid 2000's monster trucks in Monster Jam would blast through them with pure aggression. I wish it went back to that concept in the videos below. 7:06 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WeLGIGkJ7mM 3:32 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZQ3r__2aG8
