  1. First look at the Hot Wheels tour trucks:

Trucks are Derick Anson’s chassis from Heavy Hitter and Basher. This tour opens this weekend along with the kick off of the trifecta of Triple Threat Tours.

Also Bigfoot has their second truck for the tour on the Snakebite/Bigfoot 18 chassis

  2. Is it safe to assume that the tours you are referring to are the other current/former leagues on SM? Or is there something else that you were referring to? This seems interesting, and I'm thinking about getting back into things with this one, but I just wanted to make sure as to where I would fall on the spectrum!

  3. Chassis is actually a Racesource as the chassis originally was owned by Dan Radoni and ran as either Tropical Thunder or The Patriot (I can’t remember which one). I know someone made the body for it (Chris Hamilton maybe???) but that’s as far as it’s gotten.

  4. Alright guys, so I've gotten some ideas for paints to make, but I've hit a wall... and I could use some of your thoughts to help guide me in the right direction. (I hope I can post this here - It's not directly showing projects, but I'm not sure where else this would go...)

This is a logo for a custom that I had the idea to make. I moved to Nashville for school, and I wanted to make a truck.

I'm thinking about an old style Ford body, and nothing too flashy or busy graphics wise - something kinda like what would be seen on a old leafer.

This is my second project. This is a logo from a ride truck based in Colorado.

The current ride truck is on a late 90's Ford F-150 body, but I thought about using something different for the race truck. I'm open to that 90's F-150 body, but I thought about a Super Duty body or the new Raptor Trophy Truck we saw on RacerFoot this year in Charlotte. See below for the real truck. It was temporarily on a race chassis for a show not that long ago, and I believe they are in the process of building a race chassis for the team. Anyways, I'm set on replicating that design as best I can, but I kinda want to try a different body.

Post or PM me your ideas. I really want to see these ideas through, but I just am not sure on what I want to do! Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

However, i would love to see BKT versions of Monster Patrol and Bulldozer.

Real truck never ran them, so you’ll most likely just have to swap them out yourself (not hard at all to do).

Anyways @Swegliner849, your content is top notch. Always attentive to details, and really quality pieces. Can’t wait to see more of your ongoing Bigfoot stuff and whatever else is next!

  6. Personally, I don’t think you should be considering Bakugan Dragonoid because it’s a 2019 Truck. You should only look at trucks that ran this year. Same with Megalodon as the new paint scheme since it’s going debut next year. I would say the best new design is the newer Ford Raptor trophy truck body for Team Bigfoot or the new Dragon body, and best new paint scheme is Kelvin Ramer’s Yellow Time Flys

Welp, WRA ride is just about wrapped up. Not a perfect replica, but I like how it came out. GD28 Chassis, and Red bits and bobs

I’m sure you had to move it because of your added bedside and tailgate body mounts, but the rear sway bar is supposed to be up where that RII pull is on top of that section of the chassis as seen below. Curse looks great as it is, but I just wanted to throw that out there if you were really looking for realism

    Leaked 2019 truck renders.

Yeah something tells me that these are customs. There’s only one FELD Truck unaccounted for, and I doubt Team Scream would be doing something elaborate like this with the unknown 4th Truck. Doomsday most likely ain’t comin back and there’s a kraken design in there that I don’t think Matt & Nick would go for. Cool designs, but I wouldn’t say leaked 2019 renders...

The original press release when the contract was signed said "through 2018". Heres the source: https://www.tirebusiness.com/article/20140311/NEWS/140319976/bkt-hooks-up-with-monster-jam

"Feld Motor Sports Inc., the promoter of the Monster Jam series of “monster truck” competitions, has named BKT Tires the series’ official tire and BKT’s producer Balkrishna Industries Ltd. the exclusive tire sponsor through 2018.

The contract, for which no value was disclosed, allows BKT to have an on-site presence at more than 350 Monster Jam events produced annually in more than 100 cities in North America, as well as the growing international Monster Jam tour."

Which means by 2019 the contract either had to be extended or a new one made. They might go out quietly.

Considering Spin Masters have BKTs on the diecasts, and next years truck renderings have them too, I think it’s safe that you’ll still get to hear Ryan LaCosse talk about how every truck recovers or doesn’t get back onto all 4 BKT tires.

Wipped this up in about 2-3 hours. I wanted to see what a modern day Digger would look like if Dennis had stuck with the Ford body instead of the Chevy. I'm still not sure what to put on the back doors.

This is neat! Perhaps maybe put the world championship logo on the doors? Or maybe take them off? Regardless this is a very cool design and I can’t wait to see what this becomes!
