Those are awesome. I especially like how some colors are brought out more, like ETL's flames or SUD's blue. If you could somehow manage a chrome Bigfoot scheme, that would be awesome.

But in past years only Dennis and Adam had green. Once Krysten started, then she would get the green but other than Pablo's Purple ones, the other drivers would have the black ones. I much prefer the Andersons being the only ones having green so that they could set themselves apart from the rest of the fleet in a way other than driving style.

Besides Pablo's Digger  has always had purple beadlocks. I don't think the green beadlocks looks right with his red shocks either.

  4. So I got a Traxxas Stampede 2WD and I'm a bit 'out of the loop' with upgrades and whatnot.

So I've been looking for a front bumper and apparently the Stampede 4x4 bumper doesn't fit the 2WD, and I should get a Slasher front bumper, is this correct? As well as the slasher light kit?

    Also basic maintenance and cleaning?

  5. • Some MJHW trucks

    • A Big Bang Lego set (my family loves the show)

    • A New England Patriots Hoodie

    • A Tom Brady Jersey

    • Some money

    • New clothes

    • Candy

    • A Traxxas 2WD Stampede

    • A Vista FPV Drone

  6. I feel like next year will be mostly a transition year for FELD. I'm not saying that MJ will suffer; I think it'll be interesting to watch the first quarter play out and which drivers come through.

Anyways, I feel like they are kind of scaling back in terms of drivers & bodies and planning for long-term. Especially with the budget cuts I've heard about on here, it seems like their trying to get a sense of where they want to take MJ without firing people (as is the case with Ochs & Balhan). I think 2018 will be much better than next year if they want to use this year and plan out for the next few. Again, I am NOT saying 2017 will be bad.

My hope is they push it forward to January 7th. I mean none of the trucks will be running that weekend, and there's nothing scheduled at the Dome at that time

They'll need to wait until next week. If the Seahawks lose next week then the Falcons' game will be the 14th and if the Falcons lose then the game will be on the 7th (and their playing the Saints so I doubt they'll lose next week).

  8. Is there any word on a rescheduling of the Atlanta/Houston show in January? Both of those cities' NFL teams are in the playoffs and the Houston Texans are at home the weekend of Jan. 7 and there's a possibility of the Atlanta Falcons being at home the same weekend or the weekend of Jan. 14. Both of these weekends have Monster Jam scheduled as well.

  9. @Garrett Hanson

I'm going to try and give you some advice on content making, not because I think the projects you do are bad, but because I think you have some potential to make some good stuff with enough time and patience. Don't worry about changing a rim or just throwing a quick paint over an already-made truck. Try stepping out of that comfort zone and making something from scratch. Even if the first project you try from scratch turns out to be at a lower quality than some of the other trucks on the site, that's ok! You have to start somewhere when making fresh content. And have patience when tuck making, it can be a long and tedious project, but the more time you spend on it, the chances of it turning out better go up. I think you can make some good content with some good effort.

I remember when I tried to model my own arena in Blender and how the arena had so many problems and how it did not turn out how I hoped. However, I got myself familiarized with the software and got a hang for all of the different features that Blender offers.

  10. I think all dirt is eh, I miss obstacles like containers that trucks would climb over and whatnot but business is business.

One thing they should change is ramp angles. I remember growing up and watching Meents floor the truck off a step up or a motocross hill and rebounding the truck into a stoppie. Now they just shoot up into the air.

One track Monster Jam should use is the tracks that had a massive dirt mound with a ramp connected, like Jacksonville 2010 or San Diego 2009. Those tracks had some awesome freestyles and they used minimal cars. Monster Jam could easily bring that back and not need any cars.

It would be fun to watch today's drivers tackle a track like WF2, just to see how they would use such a limited track.

I made these because I wanted the blue dumpster for a track I have planned.  If anyone guesses it at anytime I'll send that track to the top of my to-do list.  Good Luck.  (its a 2016 track)

EDIT: the track uses the same color paint as the dumpsters B)

hope for Bigfoot 1 and maybe a restored GD #1

    I doubt Bigfoot 1 ( but I'll still hope).

Come to think of it, the Andersons did just 'restore' one of their oldest trucks. I think FELD is definitely going to start doing something with these oldies.

And Im ok with it. Their making a lot of changes this year that I think are pretty good. An overall series is a bit intense in terms of the number of tours, but more drivers will get a more fair chance for Vegas. The removal of all of the secondary bodies is what it is; Monster Jam trucks only had one design per truck before 2013 and everything was fine. I don't like seeing all of the gun references being taken out, but I guess that might change over time.

Hey guys I am a huge fan of the site and over and over have tried building a truck in Blender, However I have no idea how make an old leafer. For those of you that may know me (I was Mark17 on the old MTC site) I am a huge old school fan and would love to make trucks to share with you guys. So in short is there any way someone can advise me on Blender? as far as making an old truck

We have a ton of tutorials on the site, but I think one of the best ways to learn is to talk to people that make content that you are interested. Try sending messages to a creator you'd like to learn from and see if you can learn anything.

Hope this works out for you!

do you guys think theyll be more chicago style stadium tracks this year or the crappy st.louis style

I think you mean Jersey style. St. Louis is like Vegas but you start closer and do an extra lap after the first go around.

Im pretty certain they will stick with Jersey style because they said they would at the live stream back in September?

Also Monster Jam tonight looks REALLY empty. Like... maybe 50% of the stadium is full. I dunno if it was lack of promotion or what, but I've noticed less and less people going to shows as of the last year. Seems they're losing some real steam as far as ticket sales

EDIT: Oh yeah, they really didn't promote. Look on Instagram to tonight compared to this. If Monster Jam wants more later year shows they have got to start promoting more because Nashville, Glendale 2 and tonight have had abysmal crowd turnouts.

This is a shot in the dark about low attendance but maybe parents are a little stingy on going at this time of year because it is right before Christmas and they would rather get their kids presents then go to Monster Jam. Maybe people would rather go to the late winter shows in Glendale and St. Louis.

That's still weird how low that attendance is compared to the February show in St. Louis.

Has Monster Jam revealed this surprise yet? Bigfoot won't be there; they confirmed on their Facebook that FELD chose not to hire them. They did do a display in downtown St Louis though.

EDIT: Colt Stephens has been in Dooms Day and he is driving FS1 Cleatus next year. MJ revealed it through a livestream on Facebook.
