the rims are gonna stay white and the chassis is gonna stay weird and the body is gonna stay backwards.

i MIGHT texture the body if someone taught me how, and the name of the truck is white & backwards.

i can't really say anything because i don't create content, but why would you not try to fix the chassis and all the other stuff that's wrong?

second off, why did you post this?

and about someone teaching you how to texture the body, there's a tutorial on the site on how to texture bodies, i believe.

You'll only get better, unless your Garett Hanson

inb4 flame war occurs on syp

(lets see if it actually happens this time. last time i said it, it never happened)

  2. this is my third/fourth year i will not be paying attention to monster jam, tho i sometimes look at the results on their website.

here are my predictions for the maple leaf arena tour lineup (in eastern canada, at least):

Grave Digger driven by Morgan Kane

Maximum Destruction driven by Colton Eichelberger

Northern Nightmare driven by Cam McQueen

Monster Mutt Dalmatian driven by Cynthia Gauthier

    Zombie driven by Sean Duhon

Scooby Doo driven by Bailey Shea

    Aftershock driven by Bob Robbins

Krazy Train driven by Lloyd Twitchell

these lineups are similar to the lineup's that i've seen at my hometown arena the past two years.

something ive been working on still working on it just giving you a snake peak

i don't know the right word for it, but the paint looks really "flat". if you "smoothed" it out, it would look a lot more neat.

i'm sorry if my comment doesn't really help with what i think is wrong with the paint. someone else can probably describe it better.

So I've been practicing with making tacks in Blender, and I'm pretty happy with my progress so far with this custom El Paso track:

The ramp paint isn't really that good yet, I'll fix that later. And I still gotta paint the race lanes on the track, then racing should be done:

I will admit that it's not bad at all for my first REAL attempt to make a decent looking track :)

EDIT: Yes, the abomination in the upper left corner of the second pic is supposed to be a jammer XD. Maybe I'll try and fix that as well :P

it's probably just the picture, but the racing jumps look a bit small in width (if that makes sense)

apart from that, it's pretty neat.

Here is the full reveal of this, turned out pretty good. This is the red pickup body in nowadays Dennis Anderson's chassis (gd #30). Pretty fun truck to drive in the mud and in the monster truck/jam tracks. Will definetly use this in some leagues or fun runs. Also thanks to @Chazzymp for helping me with the muddy stuff

The clean/shiny version (includes a flagless truck too)

And here is an edit i made, turned out better than i thought

    beautiful. legit beautiful.

I see your point but monster trucks have been in Canada for decades. Monster Jam has been going to Toronto since the late 90s and I think USA Motorsports did events in Vancouver for a while in the early-mid 90s, not to mention Canadian drivers like Don Frankish, Linsey Weenk, and Nathan Weenk. But I'd agree in saying that McQueen is a huge Canadian influence for monster trucks.

Like I said, I haven't been alive for that long (only born in 2003) so I don't know much about what happened during the 90's and stuff like that. I know Don Frankish was pretty popular in Western Canada, I think Linsey Weenk deserves a championship sooner or later, and I don't know too much about Nathan. I know he was televised back in 2008, but that's about it.

  7. I actually haven't been around that long to know history of the sport from way back (70's and 80's) but I can say that Cam McQueen is a big influence in Canada with the monster truck industry. I think it all started when Monster Jam introduced the Maple Leaf Monster Jam Tour back in 2012, and it got a bunch of fans up here hyped for it. Once we realized that we had a truck designed for our country (Northern Nigthmare) and Cam McQueen was driving it, we felt like we could get even more attracted to the sport. His freestyle run in World Finals 13 is still one of my favourite World Finals moments of all time. I guarantee you that there will be a significant boost in Canadian drivers in Monster Jam for years to come.

I DONT KNOW how to clone

so do you know how to clone or no? and if not, why were you submitting an "uncloned" (that's what i'm thinking, just judging these two posts btw) truck for download?

That's not the XML Converter. That's the mesh tool that you can use to view meshes.

That ^ doesn't come with the game but is a handy tool for content creating. The XML Converter does, located in C:/Program Files (x86)/Rigs of Rods x.x.x/OgreXMLConverter. It's a good idea to have a shortcut to this on the desktop.

To fix OgreMain.dll, it is recommended you either reinstall RoR or install that ^ and it should re-download the dll.

strange. i coulda sworn that that file had the xmlconverter in it
