  1. 2018 dates are on Ticketmaster.

    HIGHLIGHTS:

    -Way. Too. Much. Triple. Threat.

-Only 22 TOTAL stadium shows, across 11 cities (5 of those 22 shows are in Anaheim.)

-All new "Pit Party Early Access Pass". It's $50. For one extra hour. Remember when they were free?

-No Atlanta, Houston, Miami, Detroit, or San Diego. That's all that I noticed, correct me if wrong.

All in all, not what I was expecting, but I hope that the on-track action will make up for it.

  2. Bringing up something nobody probably remembers but remember that leaked BKT Tires thing a while back? Where they would have Monster Jam trucks, tractors, mud trucks, etc. in stadiums? BKT has released two videos on YouTube hinting to this. We might have this play out as well, wondering if Monster Jam will have specific drivers/trucks for that or will send the non-FELD trucks out there. Also if FS1 will hop on and broadcast.

How do you specifically know that the dirt in Tampa is the same as Sunrise? Yeah the color might be similar but the dirt content could be completely different resulting in a much better compound on the track? Or maybe their experimenting with ways to keep the sand levels down by spraying the course more often with water? Feld is human too, and they arnt perfect so cut them some slack man. It's a company, the company's gonna do what they need to do  to save money. End of story.

I'm thinking they're experimenting with sand. And I'm pretty sure FELD using the same dirt for Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville, all hauled down from different places. Florida dirt is essentially the same everywhere.

That's not FELD's fault but keep blaming them for everything you don't like.

No it's Feld's fault, actually. Talked to Morgan Kane at the Sunrise Pit Party and he said it would be too expensive to haul dirt down, and that the dirt their was too sandy. But they put sandy dirt (pretty much the same stuff as what Sunrise has) in Tampa. So it kind of is their fault

I just don't even get WHY they still try to have shows there. With this it'll be much harder to do a Triple Threat Show, and Florida already has plenty of venues to do shows, and as far as I know this is the only venue FELD runs that will not allow dirt

They literally have American Airlines Arena 40 minutes away. They are doing an arena show in Tampa next week, sad I can't drive out there.

  6. Thought what Monster Jam was doing was cool, might as well share. In Sunrise, the BB&T Center never sells out for MJ. Not even close. So what they did was only sell lower levels. once those were close to selling out, they opened three sections on the upper level. So far they just did this for Saturday Afternoon, as that is the most popular time slot.

Really hoping they have dirt for the first time, they're bringing ATVs and Speedsters so I think Sunrise get's dirt for the first time!

Sorry about the mild Sunrise spam by the way, this is one of the highlights of the year for Monster Jam year for me, as I live an hour away.

SPECIAL REPORT: The Double Down Showdown for Monster Jam World Finals XIX will take place along with the Friday activities, including Racing. More information here:

I got every drivers autograph on the Double Down Thursday this year. That was the best day out of the 3. Sad to see that now EVERYONE will see the Showdown and we only get a few hours alone in the pit party and not a whole day.

Remember that BKT announcement teaser they started showing at Vegas? It's May 30th. This is what happened.

That was literally no help. Thinking next it'll be speedsters and then mega trucks, then the whole tour announcement. They could've at least done something different than this.

  9. I know I'm a bit late but this year's lineup for Sunrise is the best one ever in South Florida

Grave Digger driven by Tyler Menninga, Max-D driven by Colton Eichelberger, Zombie driven by Bari Musawwir, Scooby-Doo driven by Myranda Cozad, El Toro Loco driven by Kayla Blood, EarthShaker driven by Tristan England, Blue Thunder driven by Matt Cody, Monster Mutt Rottweiler driven by JR Seasock

Advertised as "Monster Jam Triple Threat Series" so i'm hoping they bring dirt into BB&T Center for the first time...
