Bringing up something nobody probably remembers but remember that leaked BKT Tires thing a while back? Where they would have Monster Jam trucks, tractors, mud trucks, etc. in stadiums? BKT has released two videos on YouTube hinting to this. We might have this play out as well, wondering if Monster Jam will have specific drivers/trucks for that or will send the non-FELD trucks out there. Also if FS1 will hop on and broadcast.
throwback the the old USHRA and TNT days with mud races and tractor pulls added onto the monster truck show? if this happens, i'll be very happy

still MT related but Doug Spanier, driver of Master of Disaster in the 80s and 90s, passed away yesterday morning, August 19th 2017

Shortened the WB on the older PEI
better?
i see a couple issues in the RetroFoot model. the headlights are two small and not recessed. and the ridge around them shouldn't be there. also missing the chrome strip along the side, the grille is wrong, and the little recessed slots for the side markers aren't there. other than those, everything looks awesome

I had a thought: what if Hot Wheels keeps making trucks, just not ones that run with MJ, or ones that aren't licensed with MJ? Like Bigfoot, Ballistic, etc. MJ doesn't owns the molds HW uses. Or what if Hot Wheels signs a contract with Monster Nationals or Throwdown? That'd be pretty sweet.
i have a feeling they might do this. they have the base for the monster trucks already, just different bodies/paints is all

Edit: 2 days later and i do this. rip DiggerFan's Excalibur

tie between the front flip and Meants's 2004 freestyle. breaks a wheel and stuffs it into a box truck

Bigfoot 18 has had a rough couple years now. I think it may be the next Bigfoot truck to go
-
Wildfoot
Blacksmith
Captains Curse
Bearfoot
Bigfoot #4 in it's post crash state
Bulldozer
Donkey Kong
Stomper

and thus another legend retires from monster trucking. wonder what'll happen to the Carolina Crusher name.

See they made a truck pack that has honestly some really good physics, but my word could any of them be arsed to make their own bodies or paint instead of ripping models from here? I'll stick to RoR until there's a legitimate community project (and once I get a laptop that can run BeamNG to begin with)
well it was originally sealed gecko that brought the truck to beamng and we are still using those props to this day (some of them are VERY old). if we could get some higher quality parts from somebody who's willing to donate them, i think F2YS will be very grateful.

This shows how trigged and stupid the beamng community are
F2YS has to deal with being a single parent, dealing with an ex wife, his job which he's on call 24/7, and he has some serious health issues. modding for beamng was his only way to have fun

I fully supported the whole monster truck mod operation and I think they have made a pretty decent truck, but I am less than satisfied with the way they treat people, especially people whose things they used to make the truck. I have complained many times that they aren't giving proper credit, and in some cases, they aren't giving any credit to people who made the mod possible. Every time I tried to get people the credit they deserved, I was given excuses for why they don't need to be credited in the release notes.
They say they are getting proper permission from the original authors, but there is no evidence of them ever contacting the people they claim to have talked to.
I wasn't a big fan of the Sim-Monsters community, but it's definitely improving, and it's definitely a thousand times better than whatever is happening on the BeamNG site.
the evidence was in the presets when they were available. back to private development it goes

sorry for the bump but the CRD monster truck is now on the Beamng mod repository. only 1 body with 2 skins but is fully breakable. no official logos or names on it but a pack will restore them and the rest of the bodies and skins will be in their own pack for download as well.

I may be going out on a limb a bit here but FELD may be cracking down on the livestreams and YouTube videos because they're making their own service for the sort. All of their partners have had something like this in the past, FOX being the current one, and their entertainment rivals have it too. FELD has been putting up an absurd amount of videos on YouTube this year, probably just to test if they would get attention. Nowadays people spend more time on the internet than on TV, and making a subscription based "network" is a great way to capitalize on that. Just my thoughts. Definitely more hopeful than realistic, but who knows.
so similar to MotorTrendonDemand? have a poo ton of old races w/ commentary and put up new events somewhere between 1 week and 1 month after the event? if so, i would pay $5 a month for that in a heartbeat (of america lol)

He did it without the assistance of a specialty ramp like Max D had which was awesome but that run as a whole shouldn't have beat out the rest. Elliot and Koehler had better overall runs than O'Donnell. Compared to O'Donnell, they both beat him in every aspect (Momentum, air, tech). Sounds to me like you're saying that O'Donnell should win because of ONE move, that ONE move defines a freestyle. That's like saying that Jim Jack should win because he did a lucky move even though the freestyle was lack luster. If the judges are going to decide the champion off one lucky move then might as well make a monster jam best trick competition.
but a best trick competition would be pointless. Lee did the First clean front flip and landed it. remember Cam Mcqueen pulling off that first backflip in competition? same as that.

anyone else catch that MJ25 truck was on a wilman?

I had an awesome night on this forum during the WF's. Had to go from stream to stream and I was always late but I had fun. Can't wait for April 9th so I can watch it for real, and hopefully someone has a legit stream tomorrow. Amazing night.
i had fun even though somebody kept kicking me from the discord server.

non of the stuff on the BeamNG CRD is stolen. paints either have permission for the original author or are made completely new. we also have permission to use the models on the CRD. Andrew Sheets, FernBurn, RockGod, and Harlow all gave us permission to use their models. and everyone is credited when a new model is introduced or in-game in the presets if it's a paint. people like you who constantly keep saying that we are stealing stuff is a MAJOR morale killer.
