Blah. If only I had 1200 bucks haha. I was hoping there was a small upgrade I could afford. Just want to run iRacing with more than 10-15 FPS lol. Don't care about graphics or anything at the moment. Oh well, might as well just save up for a new PC lol.

Alright thanks Eric! I'd like to find something rather cheap (I was laid off 2 months ago so money is tight around here) but still something that could handle iRacing and ROR better than what I have now. Even if its a 15-20 FPS upgrade it'd be worth it for me.

Well as most of you know I have a POS PC but I'm looking for an upgrade (if possible). I've talked to other people and they said if I even tried to update the PC at all it may over heat and quit working all together. But I do know a few of you here that are a little more in depth in PC knowledge so I'd like to know if I could update this PC at all and what updates I could do if so. Here are my horrid PC specs so don't laugh lol. Its an Acer home computer so yeah lol. All I want to do is be able to run iRacing and ROR respectably so if there are certain upgrades I could get it doesn't need to be something uber amazing or expensive lol. I know LF and Eric are both good with computer stuff so I just figured I would ask around here first before anywhere else lol. Windows XP, Version 2002 AMD Athlon ™ 62 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+ 2.09GHz. 768 MB of Ram Not sure what else I need to post so if there is more info you need to just ask. Any help is appreciated.

Agreed. I don't think he even scratched the 7 car up in all the races he ran in it. He'd be a good choice.

I heard Aric was bringing in a sponsor, IDK if it was full season or not. Also the rumor about Vickers was probably just hear say (aka Jayski type crap) so I'm not sure it will go anywhere. I wonder who will drive the 88 for JRM if Aric does indeed go to RPM.. I doubt Cassil would get the nod because from what I heard he and JR don't see eye to eye lol. I'd love to see someone like Johnny Sauter or something get in it.

I also heard the rumors about Almirola to the 43, that would be awesome to see. Aric did great when he drove the 9 car for Kasey for the last few races of 2010. It was also brought up (I can't remember where so don't kill me for saying this) but some people were talking about Brian Vickers possibly going to race for RPM as well driving the #45. Not sure if anyone else heard the same rumor but it would be cool to see Vickers stay in a competitive car. Though it would be pretty ironic if he and Ambrose were to be team mates haha. The big winner in all of this is Allmendinger imo. I dislike AJ but I hope he can do well in the car. Though he won't be much better on the radio than Kurt Busch was lol..

Nope, thank god. Just another thing RF2 will have on iRacing IMO. I've heard they had actual F1 drivers test their game or whatever and they said it was twice as good as iRacing was lol.

Can't wait for RF2. I believe it will be just as good, if not better than iRacing. Sadly it will also have a 'subscription' program I believe but will cost far less than iRacing. Hopefully I can get an upgrade soon so I can run it.

Yeah Kyle can be a D-bag but without Kyle Busch right now NASCAR would not be nearly as exciting. Anyone that deny's that is denying reality. Sure hes a doucher but its good to have a villain in the sport. If everyone was a 'good guy' it wouldn't be any fun. And what in gods name do you mean 'bully' on track? Earnhardt was considered a bully on track but he was popular as hell. I guess everyone should run in circles all day without even attempting to win a race or pass somebody. Everyone cried wolf a few years ago that NASCAR wasn't exciting, too vanilla, not enough drama/paybacks or whatever. Now we have it and everyone cries even more! NASCAR has the whiniest and most cynical fans in Sports.

Meh. Then we go back to the mid 2000's era where nobody even had attitude or personality. Now that wouldn't be very fun would it? Remember? NASCAR drivers were all robots then.
