obsessionracing
if it was a world record, it wouldnt have been flat landed (even though bigfoots was)
Stephen Hopkins
Yeah because landing on the front tires is a defiantly a flat landing....... I think you need to watch bigfoots jump again. What Thor did landing on all 4 tires at nearly the same time is a flat landing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIiVsBKKFlc

Eric
People need to give credit where credit is due to the European trucks..their still about 10 years behind in technology compared to us.
Patriotic Canadian
Yeah, Euro bigfoot and swampy are the most advanced trucks over there, and they're both old PENDA frames.
Sergeant Politeness
People need to give credit where credit is due to the European trucks..their still about 10 years behind in technology compared to us. It's still pretty much UK and Sweden, most trucks from Germany and areas like that have been stuck in 1982 for years.

thundro1
Yeah, Euro bigfoot and swampy are the most advanced trucks over there, and they're both old PENDA frames. Bigfoot 17 didn't use an old PENDA chassis, Nigel built his own chassis.
mdemko
Pretty sure Bob ships over chassis built at midwest 4x4...
thundro1
Actually Nigel builds his own chassis here is a quote from the la supertux website (his company) "The chassis that are built by Dan Patrick in the USA are acknowledged as the “Industry Standard” with well over 70 chassis now having been built. It is our ambition to become the “Patrick Enterprises” of the European monster truck industry, and we're not off to a bad start. LA Supertrux Ltd chassis won the European Monster Truck Racing Championships in 2003, 2005, 2006 & 2009. Built using CDS with 50mm O.D. and 3.2mm wall tubing, all bends are CNC bent on a mandrel bender to guarantee section stability in the wall of the tube at the bending moment. All LAS chassis are built in a hollow section Jig to ensure accuracy and alignment."
