SwimmingOyster Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Well I was going to make a post about blender and me starting to make tracks. But even after watching tutorial vids I can't figure out the simplest parts. I mean, I can scale the original area and thats it. Yes pathetic. ANYWAY, moving on. Does anybody know if the NMRO mud series is ever on TV or even around anymore? Todays "mud drags" are rather depressing to me, its more like dirt drags. Just thought I would post it up to see if anybody knew anything, grew up on it and miss it.
CIDRA racer Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 if your talking about the jamborees that is nmro
Roach Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Interesting way to start the topic . But I can somewhat agree. The drags are still intense. But the competition doesn't seem as intense as it was in the 90's. Nothing needs to be changed about it. But a national points series would be cool too. I personally would love to see it in Monster Jam again. That was always a great side show besides Pro Stadium Trucks and Quad Wars.

Penda Points Series, NMRO mud drags. I really miss all the World of Outlaws coverage. Full races, not just a quick hour program. While I do love SPEED channel, they are lacking in a lot of areas for me personally.
Bobamatic Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 There's a bunch of them on youtube. Just search NMRO. I too miss the 90's style of mud racing, the pits were bigger which made things more entertaining. I plan on making some mud stuff too. I want my first vehicle project to be Mud Patrol.
SwimmingOyster Posted September 23, 2012 Author Posted September 23, 2012 I watched all the stuff on youtube by misterbones and stuff. Those are really great.
