Track questions.

Ive recently made a few tracks and would like to export them. However I can't seem to locate the correct ror toolkit.  Any help or instructions about toolkit are also appreciated.

Actually you don't need toolkit for exporting tracks. Just use an existing .cfg, .odef, and a .terrn.

I did this once and it placed the map miles and miles away. I am also trying to do different grip settings, grass/ dirt, which I assume I need tool kit to do.

Well if you get the files from a track it shouldn't. As for separate objects, yes it's better if you have toolkit.

You actually do the grip settings in the Odef file. When you open an odef of any track you should see something similar to this:

1.0, 1.0, 1.0

 

beginmesh

mesh Farmroad.mesh

stdfriction grass

endmesh

 

 

end

 

stdfriction is the grip setting. There are a few different choices, Concrete, asphalt, gravel, rock, ice, snow, metal, grass, or sand. Most tracks run on grass.

how would I go about raising a map? mines just a tick under ground, i tried re exporting it with the same results. Should I just move the map up a little bit in blender, or what do I edit in the track files to move it up?
