Installer problems/error

Alright, so I've been having a lot of problems with the installer. I 1st downloaded the installer from the site off here, but this popped up while installing:http://tinypic.com/r/2vc7y8m/6 So then I asked a friend for help when then sent me the set-up file after I tried downloading it from a different site but then this popped up during the directX install:http://tinypic.com/r/nl2zx3/6 I also tried to run it (it decided to install kinda) and this popped up: http://tinypic.com/r/dcszsk/6 so then I tried to run the config and it popped up for one second and disappeared.And I still haven't figured out what's wrong. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate with an i3 CPU and 6 GB of RAM. I also just reinstalled Windows. Any help would be much appreciated.

Configurator pop up and close is either because you need to update your graphics drivers or DirectX, I've had to to just one before and both with my most recent install. Likely unrelated but I've also had issue running RoR unless the main directory is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Rigs of Rods. Try running the installers as an administrator too just to see if it helps with anything (right click -> run as administrator). Mostly going off my own experiences so hopefully it can help you somehow.

And I tried running it as an admin, same problem with DirectX.
