Rear steering Help

So on my laptop to hit F1 and F2 for rear steering I have to hit FN and when I hit that acceleration doesnt work and when I let go to straighten it out Rear steering and front steering most of the time dont straighten out. I was wondering if there was a way to change the command for the rear steering. Thanks for the help.

yeah go out and buy an xbox controller, if you cant go into the options and re bind Command 1 and Command 2 to whatever you want rear steer to be and congrats u have now changed the keys

im using a ps3 controller. I tried using the keyboard again and its horrible.

 

download motion joy. there should be a tutorial on how to do it all. shows a youtube video

Or you could go to the rigs of rods folder in your documents and go to the config folder.Then open up the input file with notepad and scroll down till you see ; COMMANDS

COMMANDS_01                    Keyboard             EXPL+F1 

COMMANDS_02                    Keyboard             EXPL+F2 

Just take away the F's in each of them and you will be able to use 1 and 2 as rear steer now

So I tried removing the F's in each of those columns but I tried it out on Hot Wheels, in the V4 pack but it didn't work.
