Official 1st Quarter Monster Jam Points Results (Custom Points Series)

I decided this season to take on the large task of creating a points set-up for the regular arena tour, stadium tour, and the Fox Sports 1 Championship Series.  In doing this I'm going to be using a custom points set-up, similar to most leagues.  Due to some arena shows lacking in full results and/or specific competitions, racing points may come from either racing results, "Hole-Shot Challenge" results, or obstacle course results.

 

Arena/Stadium Tour Racing Points:

Top Qualifier: +5 Points (Stadium Points)

Racing Winner: +30 Points

Finals Loser: +25 Points

Semi-Finals Loser: +20 Points

Quarter-Finals Loser: +15 Points

*Any round after this will recieve 10 and then 5 points

 

FS1 Championship Series Racing Points:

Top Qualifier: +5 Points

Racing Winner: +40 Points

Finals Loser: +35 Points

Semi-Finals Loser: +30 Points

Quarter Finals Loser: +20 Points

*Any round after this will recieve 10 and then 5 points

 

FS1 Championship Series Obstacle Course Points:

1st Place: +40 Points

2nd Place: +35 Points

3rd/4th Place: +30 Points

5th-8th Place: +20 Points

 

Freestyle Points are the score they receive.

 

At the end of the 1st Quarter, I will go back and also add a sheet that balances out the number of shows each truck was in so it reflects the results better (ie. some arenas have 4 events in a weekend, while others may have 2).  Also, being as there may be some drivers in multiple trucks, I will have an alternate sheet on each to have each driver listed, ignoring the truck they drove.

Things to watch:

• Damon Bradshaw has a 25 point lead over Neil Elliot in Overall, with Dustin Brown just 4 points behind Neil, 29 from Damon
• Darren Goin leads Obstacle Course most likely due to not competing in a racing bracket yet this season
• Jim Koehler is 20 points behind Darren Goin, most likely due to the 20 points he earned in Racing Points, same goes for Brandon Derrow
• Neil Elliot has a 10 point lead over Damon Bradshaw in Racing, with Linsey Weenk 50 points behind Damon, 60 from Neil
• Damon Bradshaw has a 9 point lead over Dustin Brown in Freestyle, with Charlie Pauken 11 points behind Dustin, 20 from Damon

• Jim Bendzick sits at 5th in Overall Points, while earning 0 points in the MJ Points.  This puts him higher than Linsey, Dustin, Chuck, and Bari in Overall Points, all of which have earned any points in the MJ Points.
