My best advice is to learn how to use blender, man. Sketchup is very old tech by todays standard and kills framerate. Over on the RoR forums they have tons of tutorials though

I think I was a little reluctant to make the switch to blender and fed up with the silly drama. poo happens man. I miss KOTH, That was oodles of fun

Backflips are okay IMO, But overused. They've been making the obstacles way too damn big recently, I remember back when Tony Farrell and Blue Thunder could make my jaw drop on a track with only a few big ramps and a bus stack. Now the rampsare so big they more or less just drive up and fall off the other end, WOAH BIG AIR DUDE, nah.. I like to see momentum.

I asked this same thing 3 years ago and eventually had to make one myself, I wish I still had it cause it was awesome.

Welcome! The best decision I made was switching to a x360 controller and using manual transmission. Take baby steps of course, but you' ll never go back once you get the hang of it.

Yup, I'm so far behind on all the ways content is made I doubt I'll be able to really make anything worth using, but I do want to get back into racing

How's it been going guys? I used to build tracks and stuff wayy wayyyyy back in the beginning of this whole thing, I still see my tracks/objects pop up in vids every now and then which is pretty cool IMO, I didn't think my contributions where up to par so I decided to leave it for awhile and focus on other games. I'm not sure how many OG's are still here. But I hope to see some familiar people I'm really impressed with how the site has grown since I last visited (been about 3 years I think, I don't know) the content is insane!!! Well Anyway, Suggestions on Leagues that are good for somebody that's a bit rusty but not a noobie? Thanks. -Wes225

Why don't you guys improve the 200+ trucks you have already before worrying about MORE of them.

I'm alive, I haven't seen any reason to really get involved again unfortunately, especially after seeing the new abominations in v4, and people stealing my models.using without permission, I'll pass for now. (I will not call anyone out, so do not ask.) Also, The whole sketchup is for noobs thing, not putting down blender or anything. that stuff is amazing. But don't forget where you guys come from. I made a lot of stuff for you guys and It irks me that none of my tracks are on here anymore, and I constantly get asked to start making tracks or to share my old tracks when it seems they aren't appreciated, and theirs plenty of other tracks. I understand that most are Chicago ovals, But MJ, Right? All the kids want just FS anyway. Why bother making Fun race courses when all I'll hear is "the fs sucks" "why isn't there a massive 3 bus kicker in the center" "When will you make a fs only track?" I'm just ranting now. Hope you guys are doing alright.

Basically, you know all those kids that drive dumped civics scraping the frame? you'll see about 700 "illest" or fatlace or hellaflusgstickers plastered allover them. its disgusting trend, and I have no idea what monsters have to do with it at all, they aren't low, they aren't a civic, they aren't hellaflush, and they certainly don't need overly edited photos with fake stancenation tags to look cool. /rant I tried to dump sonuva to make it hellaflush, didn't work so well.
