Have any of you actually bothered to look at the area around Metlife? There's plenty of places to have the pit party. Hell, they could probably use the horse racing track and its parking lots if they didn't want to take away from the stadium. It's also worth noting that Metlife has over double the seating capacity of Sam Boyd Stadium. Assuming costs to FELD aren't much higher, that's a far more profitable venue.

Makes you wonder what venues could faciliate. AT&T Stadium I imagine will be a prime choice

Nope. As sad as it is, Feld is ruining Monster Jam. Slowly they're making budget cuts and it's ruining the quality of the show.  They don't have fireworks during, or after the show anymore, the pit party is 1/3 of the size it used to be, no intermission entertainment (Quads, Demo Derby, Motocross, etc.), and they cut the after show autographs too.  Does a Dealership or Business around you run the free pit pass promotion? In Florida Ford Dealers give them Free. Slowly but surely, FELD is ruining MJ. I'm sorry for the off topic rant, but it kind of relates. Check Monsterjam.com for your city, and scroll down to Promotions. A  business around you should be giving them free.

    Enjoy your show,

Well that sucks out loud. Yeah I've been slowly migrating out of monster trucks over the last couple years. With the price hikes, the lack of many events near me, and finding (gonna be 100% honest here) much better communities and groups given my personality and making friends in those groups I just don't see much reason anymore

  3. So this year for Monster Jam at MBS pit passes are only purchaseable and are 20 dollars (yep, 20 dollars. Other events you can get them for free or pay only 10 but not here so a big ol FU and middle finger to MBS for that) so since I don't want to spend 80 bucks on pit passes I'm wondering do they still do autograph signings after events this year?

Yeah Ryan seems to be the only one to actually try. For example, after a two wheel run, he explains what they were trying to do and after a freestyle he makes a few comments on it. Lots of genuine energy from him. The others seem to be really "by the book", as most of them probably had no idea what MJ was before getting hired. There's a few exceptions, like Taylor and Ken, but the rest are just bleh honestly. Same goes with a lot of the new drivers, they all seem so fake (like Bryce repeats the same speech about the fans and what not every show lol)

Now Bryce I gotta disagree with. He did a podcast with the AllMonster guys back last year, guy knows his stuff. I mean hell Dennis made a career giving the same speech, if you took a shot if he said "every shingle on my roof" you'd be dead before you got through a season.

Man, that was a really nice instance where the truck nearly crashed but ended up back on its wheels at the end.

Also I'm starting to miss the announcer commentary during freestyle. Didn't really add a whole lot, but it kinda helped pump the crowd up and provide a reaction to what was going on. The lack of it makes me wonder if they got rid of it because it wasn't necessary, or if the commentators they hired don't know much about what the trucks are doing.

Honestly other than Ryan most of the commentators seem so... wooden and fake.

They had Faruq from ABC Battlebots as a commentator back in 2016, they should've capitalized on that hard. Man knows how to hype a crowd

Not to come across as rude or as a jerk, but haven't we all heard this rumor every year?  I don't think Monster Jam is gonna stop capitalizing on an event as massive as the World Finals.  It's my OPINION that it wouldn't be moved due to the 'tradition' of it being held in Las Vegas.  I'm not saying you're wrong, but the likelihood of this actually happening is slim.  We've all heard this whole ordeal every year.

Couple thing may make this a bit more likely than previous:

Next year is the 20th World Finals, if they were going to change up location that would be the best year

The new Las Vegas Raiders stadium in 2020 I feel will make Sam Boyd pretty much obsolete (could be wrong though)

    SAN DIEGO RESULTS:

    Racing: Mutant - Todd LeDuc

    Two-Wheel Skills: Max-D - Neil Elliott

    Freestyle: Whiplash - Brianna Mahon

I do believe Brianna Mahon is the first woman to ever win a stadium freestyle outright (Madusa tied for WF win). Great for her!

I know Becky McDonough won freestyle in Minneapolis back in 2016
