I'm honestly surprised Feld hasn't had a simulation built for them yet, they could save $ vs testing with a real truck. Obviously no simulation will replace seat time but it will familiarize drivers with the characteristics and controls of a truck. With todays technology they could literally build a track laser scan it and import it into the software, same goes for tires, chassis, trucks and have everything to a scale size. Game engines have deteriorating tracks, like if you made a few passes a groove would start to form and the loose dirt built up on the outside with different grip levels, crush cars/dirt ramps would change every time they're hit. You could give a new driver a chance to purposefully drive with a broken truck and figure out how much of a difference a flat tire, broken sway bar, rear steer motor that broke, etc. would make. The potential is unlimited depending on how much $ they wanted to spend on having someone develop it for them.

While I enjoy having a 3d driver model in the "roosterpit" can we make it so people that use incab view aren't blinded by the model. (Yes I know I could edit the camera) No I don't care to.

Welcome, normally each league has their own set of rules/requirements to run with them. Some of those leagues are customs only and others being replica only. Best bet to find those out is find a league of your choice and read their rule book, should help you get going in the right direction.

Have had better results from the camera. After this weekend sending in camera/lens into Canon for repairs.. Pretty sure the AF motor in my 70-200 2.8f lens isn't working as it should.

Last time I checked.. the truck doesn't drive itself. All season long it wasn't presented points to the truck but as truck and driver. What I put in bold you totally missed my point of my post.

I don't go to the world finals see Colton, or Charlie in Grave Digger, I go to the world finals to see Dennis in Digger. Same goes for Max D, while I'm a bigger fan of Neil than I am Tom.. I travel to Vegas to see Tom in Max D not Neil. Now with the previous trucks that have been ran in the past (non marvel, etc.) Why not throw Colton, Charlie, and Morgan in something that could be a throwback? I'd be more interested in seeing that than Max D vs Max D in the racing finals..

It'd be hard to run the world finals anywhere else but Sam Boyd.. The "big stadiums" aren't all that big like people seem to think, stadiums like NRG that have 24 can barely fit 24 yet alone 50+ performing trucks like Sam Boyd can. There is a lot that people don't see when you don't work the shows, everyone that helps run the show smooth do a hell of a lot to make sure it goes that way.. -Eric
