  1. Wrong chassis, wrong shocks, I'm not sure what's different about this than the V4 Max-D.
  2. Microsoft can only own the name for so long before it becomes usable as a trademark for someone else. I don't remember how long that is though. 10-15 years maybe?
  3. That Mopar Magic is stunning! Demko, truck looks good, I feel like the chassis just needs some sort of modernizing. Just remind me of the older designs for some reason. I'm partial though.
  4. I know the tracks will be totally different, I'm just talking in terms of years past racing courses compared to this year, and the same with freestyle.
  5. I'm curious to see if the additional days will make a huge difference in the track set up.
  6. On a bright note, I might be buying a new car this month, and the dealership I'm going through is throwing in a three night, two day trip to Vegas with the purchase of any car this month. And I could use that on the dates for the World Finals. Score.
  7. What nobody realizes is that SPEED or any other network never produced Monster Jam shows. Monster Jam themselves makes the shows that air. So I'm sure Scott will still be commentating, I'm sure Mark will if he still works for Monster Jam, whatever. There won't be much difference.
  8. Anyone have ideas as to where to go for travel deals? I've looked on the big name travel sits but want to do some more shopping around.
  9. Searching through Expedia, Hotwire, etc., I've found some good prices starting at $400 for hotel and flight. Not too shabby.
  10. I know the topic is over but I want to chime in. Yours was not exactly like his at all. I, along with others, pointed out that your shock layout was wrong, that the spacing was wrong, and we gave you advice to make it better that you ignored. A "replica" you make is to replicate something, not to have things that are unlike what you are replicating. So from what you showed us, no, yours was not as good at all. Now I do advise that you continue making projects because practice makes perfect. But you really need to listen to other people when they critique your work.
  11. Layout and spacing both seem to be correct, nice job!
  12. I haven't seen it confirmed but one can assume it'll be back.
  13. It doesn't really matter to me so much if I'm on the strip. But total, I should be able to easily spend less than a grand on everything which I think should be easy with enough shopping around. Found a deal on Travelocity which was like $640 for hotel and flight, so that's solid. But Balhan may not have been a great example but you know what I mean, there are people in it that are only there for their marketability and not for deserving it.
  14. Of course, I'm expecting to see no surprises in the overall lineup mostly. I'm sure we'll see people typicall who shouldn't be there like Nicole, especially Madusa, Balhan, etc., but I hope they actually do something good with the expanded line up and at least give those spots to people who really deservce them. Titan, Razin' Kane, Barbarian, etc. Hopefully the Young Guns Shootout line up is good too, because they put on one of the best shows out of the event, I'm sure.

  16. I noticed one of the posts you made showing the shocks, and they look better, but the gas shocks still need to be moved to the outside on every corner and the shocks on each corner also need to be spaced a little. Check out the picture of the truck that was posted a few pages back.
  17. Looks much better. Just make sure you have some space between the gas and coilover on each corner because they aren't suppose to be close together. I can't see the spacing from this picture but just wanted to point that out. Also, the lexan would be a good touch too.
  18. This looks good, with the exception that they aren't the right shocks. 23 basically uses the standard gas shocks with a coil on one of them. The two shocks should also have a bit of space between them. It's looking good though.
  19. I guess it's a little sad to see Chris go, but in my honest opinion, he was never a great driver. I think Steve is a much better driver. Put him in that Racesource and he will be right there with his brother. And I gotta say, it would be nice to see Zane run some MJ shows.
  20. Pretty sure that the nitrogens only are just temporary. He's waiting on longer coils and Kings to put back on. So he must be doing some good chassis modification, I'm guessing.
  21. After that first crash in 2010, the ramp was set up so that he didn't really need to preload off the jump. He could just point and shoot. That was also the case here, except he had gone a lot farther probably than he anticipated. Had he landed further up the landing, he really wouldn't have had an issue. Looked like the only really damage he suffered anyways was a broken tie-rod from what I can see.
  22. It has nothing to do with the landing ramp. The reason the truck broke is because it looks like he almost missed it. Had he jumped on a higher part of the landing, the truck wouldn't have broke.
  23. And I don't mean to seem that I'm dramatized by this, I hardly have time to play ROR. I agree fully that it's not the end of the world. Just voicing my opinion on the manner. I'm an optimistic person and agree that with ends come beginnings.
