  1. Anyone who has been photographing monster jam events this season **cough cough** dig, eric, mike. I need some good hi res shots of these trucks Grave Digger, Lucas Oil Crusader, Shocker, Martial Law, and the new Summit Bigfoot. I might need a few other trucks but this is all i can think of atm.
  2. I see what you guys are saying but I want you to earn your spot, if you couldn't lock into the event through the regular season then your gonna have to drive your buns of and win the event to lock into it this way. I'm also probably gonna count this for participation so if you have 1 race this will give you another one so you can attempt to qualify for vegas
  3. Yea this is open to anyone, and bert i made this so we dont sit two straight weeks out, we should be done by 4 at the latest so it wont conflict with the super bowl
  4. With the date change for the World Finals the 16 of the fastest drivers of the Sim-Monsters Racing League will take their talents overseas on February 6th at the Gelredome in Arnhem, Hollond at 1 PM EST. This event won't be for points but for International prestige and a spot in the World Finals. Yes you heard it the winner of the event in overall points will lock themselves into the Sim-Monsters World Finals. The debut of bonus time will take place at this event to get the bugs worked out of the new points system which will reward the fast qualifier with 5 bonus points and anyone who fills 90 seconds of freestyle with a chance to gain 5 more points in 30 seconds of bonus time. Registration for the event will open up Tuesday afternoon.
  5. The event is going to be on Sunday February 13th starting at 6 pm. I'm gonna work on Arnhem this week and have a special event KOTH style, possibly run either friday or sunday, more than likely sunday.
  6. Its like 99.9% not going to be on saturday, more than likely it will be moved back to the 13th of February
  7. alright with the race being postponed and the super bowl next sunday pick a night that would work. Saturday may or may not be able to work depending on my work schedule but we could do friday possibly but would have to start later to help out the west coast guys. We could do a Sunday afternoon race and end before the game
  8. poo i forgot about the super bowl lol, alright i guess were gonna have to do it saturday
  9. I doubt it, im almost positive im working saturday night plus people may be at the monster jam events that night.
  10. Alright sorry to inform you guys but we are gonna push the event back a week, we are having some problems with the track that would produce uneven racing and we feel it is not ready for release, I hope you guys understand where I am coming and if you dont theres the door, dont let it hit your butt on the way out. Sorry for the inconvenience and I hope to see everyone next week
  11. I would get a wheel if you have the money, a good one can cost anywhere from 80-500 bucks but they are definitely worth the money
  12. Before the World Finals here is a take of the possibilities based off watching everyone the last few weeks going into Vegas of the guys locked in and guys outside that could make an impact. Grave Digger - Probably the favorite for racing, he's made it to the semi-finals every race but 1. Freestyles have been hit or miss as of late, but if he can get it to bonus time then he'll probably the freestyle champion Maximum Destruction - Struggled as of late, due for a good night racing wise and has been really solid other than a couple weeks freestyle wise. Like Digger if he can fill the clock he'll probably claim the title Gunslinger - Hasn't been on his game racing wise as of late having problems getting out of the first round. Freestyle he has been as good as they have been, may not win freestyle event but hes gonna be near the top of the charts Bigfoot - Very quite but solid season, has yet to win this year but could bust through in either racing or freestyle Tropical Thunder - Started off slow but has come around and has been in contention for a few wins in racing and freestyle, could be a guy that can pull through like Bigfoot Air Force - Struggled in racing until last week at Jax, been solid in freestyle and can be a contender for the freestyle win if he doesn't make costly mistakes Grinder - Always a threat to win racing, came through at Orlando but problems have forced him out of racing competition the last few weeks, very solid freestyle wise could break through at Vegas Avenger - With out a doubt the most improved driver on the season, he has been fast in racing and strung some good freestyles in the last few weeks, top point getter from the last 4 races also Monster Mutt - Been quite since his win in freestyle at Atlanta, can be a real threat if he lasts the whole run any week Jurassic Attack - Same as Monster Mutt after his win in New Orleans hes just been off his game Bounty Hunter - Missed alot of races but is a threat to win racing at every event hes at, can be hit or miss on his freestyles at times El Toro Loco - Probably one of the heavy favorites to make it to the racing finals, has dominated the racing events hes run, solid in freestyle but misses the wow factor in most runs Spiderman - could be someone who makes it far in the racing bracket, has been fast in qualifying lately but mistakes have cost him wins in the bracket, has the potential to go off in freestyle Shock Therapy - Has come on to the scene strong racing wise coming close to winning in his first event at Indy and making the semis in Houston, freestyles can be wild and unpredictable at times if he keeps it wheels down he may be a surprise at the top of the charts Excaliber - One of the hottest drivers coming in with a close lose in the semis two straight weeks, just about picked up a freestyle win at Jax Predictions Fast Qualifier: El Toro Loco Racing: Excaliber Freestyle: Maxmimum Destruction Would be cool to see what everyone elses predictions are for the events
  13. Just need to add tinted windows to the rear ones and it will be almost perfect
  14. Alright here is a list of the drivers locked in and eligible to compete at the World Finals. Also remember we are starting early at 6 PM EST so we can get everything done before midnight including encores. Anyone who is in the top 8 in points including the race on sunday will be able to encore, if you think you may be in the top 8 send me a pm or an im with what you would like to do for your encore, some possibilities are but not limited to custom trucks, replica trucks, tandem freestyles, debut a new truck etc. Also dont forget were only taking 8 drivers who aren't locked in, if you dont make it in tough luck you can't freestyle better luck next season, if your sitting around 9th or 10th I would hang out tho because someone might not make the event. There are 2 alternates in case one of the locked in drivers doesn't make the event, first one to get locked in would be Spiderman and the other would be Bad News. Hope to see everyone Sunday for a good event whether it be they are racing or watching the stream. Jacksonville track from the 2010 Monster Jam Season
  19. Heading into the last event be for the first ever Sim-Monsters.com World Finals drivers will face one of the biggest layouts of the season. With a massive dirt mound in the middle and many other big objects around the EverBank Field one thing drivers shouldn't be lacking is air. Fresh of the heels of the first ever broadcasted race for the league a couple drivers will have some major momentum heading into this weeks events and look to build on it heading into Vegas, those would be the drivers of Avenger, Air Force Afterburner and El Toro Loco. Since racing in the league El Toro Loco has flat out dominated the racing scene and look impressive again beating a competitive field of trucks with ease at most times during the night. Air Force and Avenger would split the freestyle win on the night, both with what some can call the best runs of their careers. Avenger looking to be the Most Improved Driver of the Year with major improvements in both racing and freestyle since the beginning of the season. Air Force however has taken an opposite path as he started out very strong taking a freestyle win in Orlando and struggling after that. The top 3 in points would have very quiet nights as all 3 would run into trouble in both racing and freestyle and the race for the top 12 has about settled itself as the only driver outside with a shot is Spiderman who needs a perfect night and an El Toro Loco problem in racing and freestyle which looks slim with how he has been performing the last few weeks. One truck to watch out for in Jacksonville will be the Excaliber machine as he made it to the finals last week in racing and scored a 21 in freestyle with an early run. In other news the league directors are announcing 3 events after the World Finals that will not be for points as drivers wait to start the next season. They will give drivers a chance to try out another truck or look to gain momentum heading into the first race of Season 2. The first of the three events will see Sim-Monsters over seas for the first time ever at the Gelredome in Arnhem, Holland, the second will be at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, OH, and the thrid and final event will be at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA.
  20. Sry bout the double post but I didnt want to go back and edit my other one. Jacksonville is coming along nicely just need to work on the stadium, recolor the cars, and create a freestyle version.
  21. Not to burst your bubble but they put the visor and racerback back on the truck last week
  22. I think I have enough pics now, also there arnt any slots open atm and this is the last race before Vegas which is invite only somewhat
