  1. make sure you deleted your old truck pack
  2. Alright guys here is the 2nd and final tune up before the season officially starts. We will be at Vegas again and should start on schedule this week. A few changes to take note of for this week, we should be using some sort of web based chat server so we don't have to find you. Also another thing we may be trying is recording the event and maybe broadcasting it over ustream or livestream so the guys who are not racing at the time can watch. We only had a problem with one person the whole night with the RII'ing and he has been dealt with. If you decide to ignore the admins and peg your throttle when you leave the game expect a two week suspension from the series. We were two trucks short last week of a full field but I have to say the racing was really close and competitive, which made us really happy. Also a question was brought up about the RIIs, in most cases when I RII you, that will end your run, I think the only one who was let continue after an RII was Captain's Curse and that was because I pulled the trigger early on it. Last thing is that you guys have to fill the clock in freestyle, don't try and be a hero right of the first jump and go over in the first 10 seconds like a few guys did, the only 2 who did fill the clock finished 1st and tied for 2nd. When you ask to qualify also, don't make us wait more than 5 minutes because one guy did this about 3 times to rkm and liquidfire and they got very irritated about it. Just another reminder dont ask to qualify before 8 PM on Saturday. 3. try redownloading the pack if you haven't already
  4. Reading can get you a long ways, just look at the name of the topic
  5. Yea just proves how much filling the clock is in freestyle, the thing that amazed me was how quick it went, I think the first race was a little before 9 and freestyle finished at 11, You guys really made it easy on us getting right in game and lining up quick
  6. EVENT RECAP: A new era in monster truck simulations began with the very first unofficial event at Sam Boyd Stadium, in racing almost every race came down to the wire with the Finals pitting #10 seed Bad News who was the giant killer coming into the race against #1 seed Maximum Destruction. It would be Max D pulling out the victory in one of the closest races of the night. In Freestyle, the story seemed to be that the drivers could not handle the large objects at the Vegas track. Only 2 of the 16 drivers would fill the clock and it would come down to a tie breaker between Bounty Hunter, Stone Crusher, and Captain's Curse. But with Bounty Hunter and Captain's Curse both only scoring 8's as their highest score, Stone Crusher took the victory with a 9 as his highest score. Offical Results: Racing -Round 1- #1 Maximum Destruction def #16 Bounty Hunter #2 Grave Digger def #15 Bulldozer #3 Tropical Thunder def #14 Mopar Magic #4 Captain's Curse def #13 Blacksmith #5 War Wizard def #12 Cowboy #6 Stone Crusher def #11 Taurus #10 Bad News def #7 Bad Habit #8 Gunslinger def #9 Blue Thunder -Round 2- #1 Max D def #8 Gunslinger #10 Bad News def #2 Grave Digger #4 Captain's Curse def #5 War Wizard #3 Tropical Thunder def #6 Stone Crusher (Race of the Night) -Semi Finals- #1 Max D def #4 Captain's Curse #10 Bad News def #3 Tropical Thunder -Finals- #1 Max D def #10 Bad News Freestyle Truck -- Score-Tie Break Stone Crusher -- 24-9 Bounty Hunter -- 24-8 Captain's Curse -- 24-8 Blue Thunder -- 21 Bad News -- 20 Gunslinger -- 19 Tropical Thunder -- 19 Grave Digger -- 19 Maximum Destruction -- 17 Bulldozer -- 16 Mopar Magic -- 13 War Wizard -- 12 Blacksmith -- 9 Cowboy -- 6 Taurus -- 4 Bad Habit -- DNS Awards Race of the Night: Tropical Thunder vs. Stone Crusher Racing Winner: Maximum Destruction WOW Factor: Grave Digger one wheel walk down the big air ramp Freestyle Winner: Stone Crusher Thanks to all that showed up and everyone who helped, it couldn't have been done without you. 7. @MM21 the two practice races start at 8 PM EST, the actual season runs events at 5 and 9 i think @Rexanator yes if you can follow the rules
  8. Yea that's fine as long as you don't run like 1 event and never show up you'll always be welcome to race
  9. You are going to need it to race, everything will be relayed through it. Go to aim.com, download it and make an account it will take all of 10 min most likely to do that
  10. No it does flare out a bit, the pic doesn't really show it tho
  11. This will be the first of two practice races and will be at the World Finals 9 track. We will be taking the first 18 entries, everyone else after that will be a fill-in(Fill-ins be ready an hour or so before the drivers meeting, if someone does not qualify you will be asked to run a qualifying run). This event will be starting at 8 EST because of some conflicts with my personal schedule, if everything goes smooth though it should be done fairly quick. To qualify, post in chat that you are ready to qualify (Only if an admin is online), and you will be sent a PM with what server to go into. If you post that you want to qualify before Saturday at 8, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RACE ON SUNDAY. Please do not spam the chat with multiple posts or all caps, we will get your qualifying run in when we are able to. We may be using aim but just for this event unless we find a teamspeak server. The server info will be posted during the drivers meeting and if you ask anyone for it before the event you will not be participating in this weeks events. Also one last thing, your name for when you enter the server should be the name of the truck you are in. Event Schedule Saturday 8:00 PM EST: Qualifying Opens Sunday 8:00 PM EST: Qualifying Closes/Drivers Meeting 8:15 PM EST: Event Begins 11:00 PM EST: Estimated time of finish for the nights events To sign up post a reply with the following info fully filled out(must use a truck from the truckpack) Name: Truck: AIM: Trucklist: Truck -- Driver Bigfoot -- Cap Blacksmith -- skullofdeath Blue Thunder -- ARF Man Bulldozer -- bigkeith11 Captain's Curse -- jarongoose Grave Digger -- RKM Grinder -- Casey Graves Gunslinger -- crazyman444 Maximum Destruction -- JoshDIGRhodes Monster Mutt Dalmation -- easy2 Mopar Magic -- thunder7845 Pastrana 199 -- tatsu Spitfire -- rhcpfan652 Stone Crusher -- prmikee9 Taz -- henry99 TMNT -- MM21 Tropical Thunder -- chromethunder War Wizard -- cman23 Fill-ins
