  1. You wanna see a good looking car?  The 2016 Mercedes AMG GT looks absolutly incredible.

Did I mention they also have a GT3 spec racer?  It looks pretty wicked, too.

(Trying to upload from my phone, no idea if this'll work or not.)

  3. Pretty much the same issues as steiale.  Only thing that real irks me is the adds on the top of the page.  It's like they can't formated for the mobile version, so the end up running about twice the width of the page, resulting in a really long add, and half of the screen is the actual mobile site, and the other half is just blank space.

I'll have to take a look at the desktop version later.

  4. Maybe try clearing it, then booting it back up.  Nothing should be in after that, then try regening it.  Weird, but it's for me in the past, for some odd reason.

If you have any of your old files, maybe try and replace them all, pretty much doing a clean wipe of the trucks and track folders.  Just an idea.

  5. You can always reposition the camera for the "roosterpit" for the trucks. I forget exactly where it is in the .truck file, but there are a few numbers that if changed, will move the camera forward/back or up/down. A lot of guy use them for roof cameras.

You might be able to move it firward infront of the visor. The field of view might not be all that great, but you'll be able to see.

  6. Even if they added some sort of windscreen infront or around the driver. At least something to deflect incoming debris. As we saw with Wilson, helmets only do so much.

  7. Not to mention some of the incidents involving Formula One drivers.

Such a tragic incident, makes me wonder if some new safety implications may be in order.

  8. Well due too the fact im not a profesinal body maker like sheets or harlow its defenetly not going to be the best. Well i tried and its far from perfect but its better then nothinög.

I kinda feel nothing would look better

    /sarcasm. I kid, I kid.

Though it might not be the same thing, I belong to another forum that deals with painting custom NASCAR paint schemes, like actual paint schemes that they plan out and probably put way more time in than I can imagine. The one thing I've learned from those guys is the difference between getting something down to get it done and tweaking something to make it look exactly how you want it to are two completely different things. The difference between something that may look ok and what looks pretty damn near perfect is all in the small details. Would you rather do something quickly and then end up doing it over again or do it right the first time? I'm not trying to bash on you or anything, but one of the lessons with creating almost anything is putting the amount of effort into it to get it right the first time, that way you get into good habits of doing it that way; to make something look the best it can be. In a nutshell, don't rush something to get it done, take your time!

I will applaud you for actually attempting to make something. We all have to start somewhere. Heck, you're farther than I ever made it.

  9. @ mark, truckguy, nss, acdc

I'm sorry, I wasn't really meaning to call his work bad or anything, i just like mine because i made it. (i like stuff i make, because i know i made it)

I'm not calling his bad, that's not what i was thinking at all when i was writing my first post.

He did and amazing paint job, especially for the first time! He was planing dirt crew but he needs the body. I like how hes making trucks that aren't in ror yet.

Fair enough, but your don't have to rip on the guy if he uploads his own version of a truck that you made aswell. Do we need to have the same eight people making Truck X, while a few others make Truck Y? No. If we have people making the same things, peoplecan colaberate to make each better as a whole. Heck, you could take the skin off of his and put it on yours and boom! Best of both worlds.

People might be making the same thing, but I'd rather have a truck released twenty times, each someone elses, to add variety and keep new things coming to the public than use the same stuff for 9 months without anything else coming out. Lighten up, dude.

  10. how much should i raise the red numbers?

It's your own preference. My guess would be until it runs smoothly enough. People with higher end PCs might not have to raise it as much as someone on a bone stock laptop.

  11. Demko, can I, like, hire you as a personal Chief? Just about everything you post in hear looks like something I would go absolutly nuts over.

Hugery at 3:30 A.M. It's gonna be a long night...

  12. Sorry to see you go, man but, you'll on to bigger and better things! Best of luck in the armed forces. Maybe Johan can thow together a tribute scheme for ya? Best of luck.

There was a quote from Eurosport awhile back, went something like this: "When we end our broadcasts, we always say, "until next time". Why? Because goodbye is always so final."

Sadly the ramp will be a "non-co" prop.

If anyone is up to help to make it move and stuff i would be thankful.

Quick question. If someone were to make it colidable, would the yellow slats that make up the face of the ramp end up grabbing the tires of the trucks trying to hit said ramp? Only reason I ask is, thinner objects in RoR always seem to grab onto the trucks if they pass over them, at least with my experiences.

That looks awesome, non the less. Ramp doesn't seem to have as much curve from the angle of the photo. $10 says I'm wrong, though.
