Zane retted posted on facebook telling people if they weren't driving for FELD events this year to keep their "one-sided opinions to themselves."
Is it possible some people like them?
-
Also with David Smith coming back with a new piece for King Krunch, will FELD just buy the old Flame MS chassis for the Basls?
What does David driving the truck he just built have anything to do with FELD buying the old chassis?

I have my doubts on that, I don't think FELD would put his son under a contract with them only to leave his dad hanging, and besides he's still at college age so he may be going back during the winter (this is why he didn't drive Hooked in 2013)
Eh, Steve does still have other drivers, and Jr. went to college throughout the entire FS1 tour. I wouldn't consider it too unlikely. But hey, a rumor is a rumor.

We have this thread for a reason.

probably gonna go bankrupt with aaron on the team
Makes sense considering that we've only gained money the past two seasons with him.

I don't see why the logo change is such a big deal- it's not like a new logo is going to suddenly make Monster Jam worse in any way shape or form. Its just a new logo, if you don't like then you don't have to, but theres no sense in complaining. Back to news- There is a BKT Truck on display somewhere, its on Cotys chassis, actually looks really good. I cant find the picture again but its on Facebook somewhere if you care to look. I'm very ready for the 2016 season, I've got a great list of shows to go to, and its gonna be a great year.
My corporate boner is raging. Seriously though, the truck looks sick.
-
I dont care that its changed, mainly because at the end of the day logos effect nothing. My point was being made to which ever person stated something along the lines that logos should always be changed to meet the changing world. I was using my references as examples of major groups similar to Monster Jam that rarely change the logo of their "sport", thus proof you dont need to change a logo to meet the times. That was all that I was trying to show.
I think you're talking about what I said(?) and that's not what I really said. I said it would fit in better with other organizations logo's in today's society, but didn't say they had to change it. I also said it made sense because they've basically changed their entire way of shows since the last logo was new. I never said logo's should always be changed, and I never said it was necessary.. You may not have been talking to me, but I assumed you were because your post was right below mine and without a quote and no one else seemed to say anything along those lines so sorry if this isn't directed at me.
Also as a side note, not to pick on you or anything, but saying logos don't matter or affect anything? Maybe to you and I as consumers, but in the world of business, they are extremely important. If someone see's a logo of a company, they automatically think something about that company. If your logo looks outdated (the flat grey one didn't necessarily, but it I could see why someone might think it did) then it looks bad on the company. If it's modern and clean, the company is looked more highly upon, even if just subliminally. Also brand recognition is important as hell. That's why you tend to see simple, easily memorable logos like the Nike swoosh, or the Chevy bow-tie, because they are simple and easy to recognize and remember. I'll stop now because I'm geting off topic
-
The old logo is outdated and not that pretty. This one looks way more modern, and fits in with the logos of other corporations. I'd call it a smart move, especially since they've changed pretty much the whole entire company since the last logo was introduced.

Are you saying Zimmer has never been in Vegas? Because he has. Three times. XI, and XII in Shock Therapy, XIV in Superman. He even came third in Freestyle at XIV. Also one racing championship is more than Marc McDonald has so... I don't know what you're getting at with that.
At the time I am typing this post, I just remembered Zimmer being in Vegas those 3 times:
2010: Shock Therapy
2013: Superman
2014: Man of Steel
I just outlined when he had driven in the post below yours. Randy Brown drove man of steel in 2014, and Zimmer drove Shock Therapy in 2010 and 2011, and Superman in 2013.

It has been YEARS since I've last seen her run THIS hard in a stadium show. And Jon Zimmer in Metal Mulisha? HOLY S**T! Both of 'em had to take out MARC MCDONALD to make it into the Championship Race, which is surprising for a 1 time racing champion and a driver who has never competed in Vegas before.

So basically the YGS lineup by about 2018 will be as big as the main field
I'd watch it >.>

I think the "besides" part goes to Midnight Rider.
Wouldn't it be Tom Herzog who owns and always drives it?
Also, if Chad isn't in SF, who would be?
My guess is they probably added a new truck based on the new name, similar to Monster Mutt, Monster Mutt Dalmation, and Monster Mutt Rottweiler.

Go live the dream, I'm sure you've earned it. Good luck!

My jaw dropped HARD when I found out that O'Donnell defeated McDonald. DAMN, LEE! FIRST YOU DEFEATED LEDUC, NOW YOU DEFEAT MCDONALD? You're starting to become a terrifying creature, man!
What are you talking about? Lee has been a great driver for years now. For f*cks sake he even was No. 2 qualifier in Vegas in 2013 and 2014, and made it into the semis in 2014 (inb4 controversial race blah blah blah).

Dustin Brown said on FB that they have been rusting rims to put on it because it's supposed to be rat roddy. This makes me think that the Shop is hardly representative of the actual truck.
Wait sh*t I mean uh.... LOOKS LIKE AWFUL DARN I HATE FELD. (that shop is pretty bad tho)
