  1. Is it just me, or do these accidents seem to occur more often? Or at least in the last 3-4 years?

Well, think back to 2004. There were far less monster trucks doing things in small areas with poor safety. The truck were also not being subject to nearly the kind of things they are now. This probably plays into part of it, but to be honest, I'm not sure what else does to where it seems to happen really just within the last 3-4 years more commonly as opposed to 5-6 years ago, or something of that scale.

  2. Worked on this for several hours today and I think i'm just about done. If I can get it, I'll add Wambo's engine model and call it a day. Also added some glowing LED strip RII lights because why not. (Which can't be seen in the pictures because there's no glow feature in 39.5.)

That's actually awesome. I just hope the driver model doesn't screw with the in-cab ;)

  3. The only thing I have to say about Cali Kid is that you have the hood and front quarter panels on when they shouldn't be. Most of the time, the mafia version of Cali Kid didn't have a front clip minus the grill piece. And very rarely had a hood at all.

Other than that they look pretty good.

  4. I watched something online where a guy cut out all the guff from each episode and got it down to just the fights. The bot I liked the most won too, so that was cool. If anyone is interested in those videos I can post them in here later.

  5. Same thing from a current seattle area resident. Not only the pyramid is a give-away but also the tower is cause that is not the space needle. It may look like it but it's not. That is actually the CN tower in Toronto and in the middle, I see what appears to be Big Ben, the big clock tower from London, England. As for what it is all together, it's probably the intro to the SSRS Playoffs or a promo for another league's season.

    It's Las Vegas...

  6. This is a brainstorming negative opinions on feld thread, not a defend feld and have a hissy fit about it thread.

I wouldn't really call that a hissy fit. The thread's title was originally different from this anyway, but brainstorming is collaborating multiple things to find a solution to a problem. So if there already is a solution to a problem, then it only makes sense to point it out because that's what brainstorming is.

  7. what if someone used it in a compition

The truck isn't allowed in any league currently running. Leaf sprung trucks aren't allowed in any league but some fun runs allow them. Even then, I don't know if Bigfoot 5 is allowed, but if it were, it would probably perform very poorly.

  8. Remember My Chemical Romance? Yeah I just started listening to The Black Parade

    Better late than never?

Also picked up Papa Roach's F.E.A.R. album.

  9. Although it is a real truck, it has never competed, therefore can be debated to whether or not it would be legal in SSRS. Danny's rules state that the truck must have "competed" within last year.

Actually the rules are competed or displayed within the past year.

  10. I know what FELD found wrong with it, it's not a CRD or a Cohen, I mean give it a couple years and there will no longer be any Patrick chassis FELD trucks

It's way easier for a fleet of vehicles to all be the same so that a mechanic can easily work on any of them. It's the same thing that applies to a company purchasing a fleet. They typically buy all of the same thing so that they don't have everything different. Besides, the PEI's they have are starting to become some of the oldest trucks they have, so it only makes sense to replace them next.
