  1. Lesson for working with ANY track creator on ANY system. -edit- might as well show my work. From the money Bayley motorsport made from selling the "drover" to FELD to become a Crocodile Dundee ride truck we have made enough money to build a new supertruck! Freshly edited chassis, about .4 times longer than the original truck Just got to paint the shocks and bake the shell and the new mystery truck is ready to go for the DJM series.

  5. I know we've got Diggerfan who is making some late 80's leafers, got a TNN pack coming out too and there might be a league to go with it.
  6. Nice spot, the original version was in full Marlboro colours but I toned it down a bit for this truck. It's a very popular paint job in Australia and I'd say about 20% of our racecars are painted up in the scheme, I just put it onto a monster truck.
  7. Well, after a fair bit of fiddling, my fifth custom truck (and first serious attempt) is done and is actually decent for once. The "Drover" runs off the chassis of Bad News with suspension softened by a bit, body is from Mechanical Mischeif, with some minor blemishes smoothed over in blender. Flags are USA and AUS flags. tires are ukraines front and rear. Hope to have this truck running at the next Hump Day shootout then practice in blender to make the DJM version.
  8. Nice track, only problem I have is the... probably the white ground. I've been back into skinning trucks again thanks to a blender-less cloning tutorial and turned my Bad News truck "Drover" into something older, since Australia doesn't really have any modern monster trucks, a 90's chev will do. Just got to put a design on it and see if I can get permission to run it in the next Hump Day Shootout.
  9. Mark qualified 1st with a 36.90. 9 seconds between 1st and 16th.
  10. Got myself caught on a jammer stack, freed myself and rolled it. Most fun I've had in months!
  11. We need Army Armstrong back "GRAAAVE DIGGGER IS DOING IT IN THE AIR!' A damn sight better than "OOOHH! Quick, find a new name for that cross-thread- WORLD FINALS TICKETS- BACKFLIP!"
  12. I keep looking at that time and I keep on pinching myself on the arm
  13. From what I read some people reckoned that going with the 2.6 instead of 2.6.2 was better. They were wrong. Working fine now! Thankyou!
  14. Love this truck, love this track! for the first time I've been able to slide a truck into the corners.
  15. Consider yourself lucky, you get to see the show within the year it was filmed. Just watched World Finals 13 last month, now its a mix of Orlando and highlight reels..
  16. I downloaded Blender 2.65 last week to work on cloning a truck or two to start making my own customs, on the advice of another user I switched to 2.49 the next day and have failed to import any of the truck mesh files in that time. I use Python 2.6 and the OGRE import script yet the console of Blender says "No Installed python found" even after linking it in the reletive paths section and when I try to import a MESH file I am told to "Check the console" only to see that it cannot find line 57 in the module "Import glob" (global). Windows 7- 86bit. any help would be aprreciated.

  18. Early for racing, late for qualifying, to be precise. Welp, since I stuffed my qualifying run, heres something fun to try out for those still running, You can do backflips on this track. *Insane laughter*
  19. You know it's gonna be a good run when you've flipped over before you started!
  20. Yeah, I'm having the same problem, can't put any of the V4 trucks into Blender, even using the Ogre XML Converter.
  21. Thanks jose, great to see little videos like that, makes a nice change from monster jam!
  22. Andrew Bayley Andrew Bayley (proteam63@hotmail.co.uk) Half Pint Also, could we get a direction on the track? I'd hate to do my qualifying and go the wrong way.
  23. Can't wait for those leafers! Meanwhile I've taken Bad News, slapped on some ukraines and started on my own personal truck. Here's a hint, never ask a tired person what a good name for a truck is. So, after some work in photoshop, I came up with this: Paired with Red-Digger 20 I hope to run "The Drover" in the upcoming DJM series, but, knowing me, it'll have undergone about 60 re-paints before I'm happy with it! Pretty good for three days work anyway.
