  1. When I installed RoR (.37) on my new PC it puts the game files on my mechanical hard drive and the mods folder on my SSD in "Documents". Is there any to get the mods directory onto the mechanical hard drive? I need to reserve space on my SSD.

  2. The content on here is made for .37. You can get it to work with other versions like .38, .39.5 and 4.x but they require some work (which is why we tell everyone to use .37 in the first place). 4.x uses the ".terrn2" system, so the tracks on here must be converted from .terrn to .terrn2. Some users are already doing that and there is a guide on how to in the Tutorials section. My understanding is that trucks usually work but have some texture issues. However I do not nor have I used 4.x, I currently use 39.5.

All leagues as of now still use .37.

You don't need 0.37 to use content on this site. Everything except for old tracks are compatible. Trucks work perfectly.

Not all the time. We say this to avoid having to tell people again and again how to get content working on newer versions (which for the average user can be a hassle). That's why we say .37. It may not be the best or most optimized version but it's stable overall and it works. Not to say that I'm not for an upgrade, personally I use .39.5.

But that's another topic for another day.

  4. Are you saying they don't work or you just want better damage? You need .37 to use all of the content on this site. As far as better damage goes, several members have been working on a new node/beam structure from the ground up, but it's nowhere near completion. We all want more realistically performing trucks but they probably won't come any time soon.

  5. Uhhh... does this scream "really unsafe" to anyone besides me?

With "over 30 years of experience" you'd think CFP would be a bit safer. Sure, Larry isn't hitting the bus stack, but what if the truck twists in the air and hits the stack? These trucks can be unpredictable and they should know that.

Heck, in Belton this year they only blocked off the first 2 rows, which isn't as bad I guess because the stands weren't full.

If was even worse in 2003. One row blocked off and a sold out crowd.

  6. Went to the CFP show in Belton Texas last night Went to my first monster truck show there 13 years ago. Anyway, Kalia Savage approached me to be the event photographer if her hired photographer didn't show up. I also talked to Jim Kramer. He said they hope to have some products and such with Traxxas by next year. Oh and I met some kid named Preston Perez.
