  1. So, I was screwing around on google maps and found something pretty cool. It looks like the satellite image for Sam Boyd Stadium was taken just days before the world finals and you can see the racing track built, along with the trucks set up for the pit party and you can see the pit area with a bunch of parts and the trucks in the show in their individual pits.

  2. This has probably been posted before, but I was screwing around on Google Maps looking around at random stadiums, and I got to Angel Stadium in Anaheim and it's satellite image is from after one of the events from earlier this year.

Edit: Looks like Levi's Stadium's satellite image could be from while they're getting the stadium ready for a show.

  3. I said in the World Finals thread when a few people complained about Scott's score for doing 3 backflips, and I will say it again. Doing multiple backflips should not get you more points, just because you did more. I'll use the same example, it's like going to the same obstacle and doing the same sky wheelies on it.

I'm not saying he didn't deserve the Nashville win, since his run was the only one I watched, but just because you did one move more than anyone else, doesn't mean you should get more points. And if these runs are any indication, it looks like it may be a possibility this could be something he does for most of his runs. But the thing is, one of the things they stress to judges is the variety of moves.

None of the Basketball is aired on FS1 (march Madness at least) NBA is usually aired on ESPN as well as Baseball if anything could hold it up It would be Soccer but even that is aired somewhat early, not only that if Nascar can do it live why can't Monster Jam go up within a week?

When it comes to being live, I know in the past the WF has occurred while Supercross was airing live on FS1 or Speed. With the WF being two days now, that's two days of primetime TV. But there is way more factors than TV time. First off, would there be a big enough audience for it to go live, to make it worth the extra cost of going live? Would companies buy ad space, so they make some money on it? They also need to get the event fitted into an alotted time. Say they allow them to go from 7:00 until 10:00, last night the WF ended just before 10. So with commercials we would miss some runs. Of course, one option would be to use time it takes to get a broken or flipped truck off for commercials.

I heard Dennis saying something about being to strict, what was he referring to?

The judges being strict. Said something how Cam's run was really underscored, I think he also said it should have unseated him in the hot seat.

  6. Look at it this way. Scott doing 3 backflips would be like me going to the same ramp and doing slap wheelies on it 3 times in a run. We've already seen like 6 backflips, he just did more than anyone else. Why should he get the lead the for doing more backflips in a run than others have?

I'm predicting some of the drivers that didn't go yet are nervous about this.

EDIT: ARE YOU F**KING KIDDING ME WITH THE SCORE OF SCOTT BUETOW'S RUN!? That had THREE backflips, and it got a 30.5.

One of the things they want to see is someone doing something new, not repeating something in a run over and over. If it were a backflip contest, then maybe he gets more than a 30.5. Shouldn't be a surprise anyway, these judges are all over the place.

  8. This track is eating up so many trucks.

Edit: I think they said the track is 9-1 tonight. Assuming I heard right, That's absolutely ridiculous. The track should never claim that many trucks

Edit 2: Make that 10-1. 12 more and we'll be in Undertaker territotry at 22-1

Edit: Screw it, I'll keep track with this post. Track is now 13-2
