long time no see sim-monsters, well anyway I'm sorta here still... anyway this is one of my favorite projects to date. i have put lots of time into this track, its a repli-custom 2019 track with the red style layout and green racing, its the best of both worlds. To the track creators on this platform, I have tried something y'all do (maxdman, chrisb etc.) but kinda smoothing everything and making it more "round" with less sharp angles, I've always smoothed the ramps, but this I did everything and I'm really happy with the results so far!

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! That looks really good! Makes me happy when others are putting so much detail into their tracks. Literally zero critiques from me. Just be sure to adjust as required after the initial export, because trust me, some ramps might seem fine in blender, but in game they're wonky af. That always happens to me lol

Now you just gotta get the texturing right and you're golden. Think the best way for that would be to first do it yourself, then show it off once more and get some feedback. Biggest advice I can give is to be yourself. Sure you can take inspiration from other creators, but it's so much more interesting and rewarding when a creator really implements their own style. Hell, use some of the new cars, find some new textures off google, what ever you think would look best. (insert thumbs up emoji)

I hope those are empty seats inside of the safety holds because I'm launching directly into the first 10 rows of seats.

😂 Yep they are. Fun fact the track was originally going to be the Monster X show they did there, so it’s the same set up as that in the stands

Super fireeeee. Love unique setup of a lot of your ramps

Yeah I really wanted to make as many combos from pad to pad as possible (like think of that little ramp monster jam has in the corner of all their tracks). That's why so many are angled toward different areas.

Sorry for double post but the thread is SUPER dead right now. Small update on my track :)

sorry its kind of a mess with scaling trucks everywhere. Been focusing on the little details that I think are really gunna bring the track to life.

Awesome looking banners, but please please please don't use that crowd texture, totally kinda ruins the vibe. Use a higher quality bake and actually try and map out the stands with walkways and stuff. Or try 3D fans if you're super cool

Any suggestions on making the blue paint pop more?  Using paint.net and the overlay function.  Any help would be appreciated.

I had this same problem while working on the yellow for WF18 (I was also using overlay). The first methods I found that worked best was copying and pasting multiple overlays over each other. This however then made it harder to erase for wear and tear. However the other method i found was to just lighten up the dirt beneath (like just that section, keep the rest of the dirt the normal dark color). Then to make wear and tear just clone stamp the dirt over it (you can edit brushes the exact same whether it be using the eraser or clone stamp)

That’s my just my experience with it from WF18. You can also try different blend modes other than overlay if that’s an option

Heavy D is the most overrated driver in Monster Jam. Everyone is jumping on his bandwagon because of his show. Dude's full of himself too. He's quite possibly the rudest driver since Damon Bradshaw's years in Monster Energy.  Not to mention, he's not even that good...

Yes, after all he is just a television personality they put in a truck to build exposure. Similar to what they did to get Madusa in the early 2000s. I personally dislike them both. Diesel Dave (the diesel brother one) seems to be okay though.

And I’m just going to defend my boy Damon real quick. In my opinion, he was one of the most real, down to earth, and humble drivers out there. I had actual conversations with a couple of times and he was probably the most interesting and friendly guys in the industry. Just cuz he wasn’t a Bryce Kenny in terms of enthusiasm doesn’t mean he was a douche. Or maybe you just had a bad experience with him, which is actually totally understandable. Like, and I know most will disagree with me, but based on multiple experiences I’ve had with Todd Leduc, I’ve really started dislike him due to his cöckyness and egocentricity. I’ve only met him in real life twice, but both times I just got a bad vibe from him.
