My Predictions:
WORLD RACING CHAMPION: Monster Energy - Todd LeDuc - Holy S**T this guy's been on fire! Been blasting everyone in FS1 West and gave an aerial attack to Neil Elliott and Adam Anderson! If he takes the win in Qualifying....TAKE COVER.
Semi-Finalists:
Dragon - Jon Zimmer - He's burned through multiple racing brackets this year (no pun intended), and if he gets an easy Round 1 match, it's all good for this guy.Son-Uva Digger - Ryan Anderson - If he's been on the top of his game this year and just fended off Coty Saucier, I don't see any problem with him making it a threepeat.
El Toro Loco - Marc McDonald - With a Qualifying victory in his belt, it would be really nice to see this guy make it to the Semis, or even the Finals, once again.
WORLD FREESTYLE CHAMPION: Son-Uva Digger - Ryan Anderson - With so many newcomers to the field, and Dennis and Tom out of commission, this year he may just finally do it.
-
My jaw hit the floor when I saw Rosalee Ramer, Bryce Kenny, and Buddy Tompkins in the field. But nonetheless, congrats to the last 9.
-
My Final 9:
1. FS1 Cleatus - Colt Stephens (If Frank Krmel isn't behind the wheel of the sport's official sponsor truck, this guy better get the call.)
2. Zombie - Bari Musawwir (Pretty obvious)
3. Soldier Fortune - Chad Fortune (Again, pretty obvious)
4. VP Racing Fuels' Mad Scientist - Lee O'Donnell (No comment.)5. Max-D - Colton Eichelberger (The dude's been killing it all year, so why not?)
6. El Toro Loco - Becky McDonough (If Feld turns this one down again....)7. Stone Crusher - Steve Sims (He's a veteran, and has one of the highest freestyle averages in the WF. That's why.)
8. Carolina Crusher - Gary Porter (This guy has done amazing in arenas this year, and is very underrated in my opinion.)
9. Monster Mutt Junkyard Dog - Dustin Brown (Whatever happened to this truck? One year and it's gone? This guy deserves to be back for a third year one way or another.)

CONFIRMED: All three champions of the TTS series have officially earned their berths to WF 18;
-
Only question is....do we have ourselves a fourth?
-
CONFIRMED: Justin Sipes wins TTS Central.
He got so far ahead of Camden that they knew he's not gonna catch up, so they just decided to give Justin his berth this afternoon.

Both Tom & Dennis will be at Vegas as honored guests and will be present at other activities throughout the weekend.
I...can't believe what I just read. In my opinion, this year just won't be the same without either one of them. Not to mention Dennis not being in it for Digger's 35th is extra sad. But I guess I can accept that fact.

Considering she finished 2nd from the bottom in points, she's lost her touch. She doesn't have those wow factor runs and stellar performances like she used to.
With Steve Sims however, He has definitely lost his touch, but he can still drive fairly decently, and could still probably throw down in a Vegas FS if his truck survives.
You know who's lost his touch more than any other driver? If you guessed Scott Hartsock, you're correct.
You may counter at me, but think about it; he was in the VERY FIRST World Championship Race. Now look at him. He's lost his touch so much you could almost say he's as low as Larry Jarzel.

Another save of the year nominee?
Backflip failed because back wheel drive didn't kick in.
Marc got his share of consecutives, too.

Aaaaand time for this weekend's Stadium Roundup:
FS1 West: The Georgia Dome witnessed it's last shows ever, and both in which were FS1 West events. Neil Elliott and Todd LeDuc triumphed in the Racing brackets, while Adam Anderson and also Todd LeDuc snatched the Freestyle victories. LeDuc became the Series Champion with his victories this weekend. A spectacular weekend to bid a fond farewell to the Dome. Series Champion: Monster Energy - Todd LeDuc
FS1 East: Detroit was amazed by their 2nd Monster Jam show this year, and it was with beyond good reason. Everyone went all out to wrap up the FS1 East series, and it would be Linsey Weenk taking the sigh of relief at the end of Freestyle as the Series Champion. Morgan Kane and Colton Eichelberger both grabbed themselves a victory. Series Champion: Lucas Oil Crusader - Linsey Weenk
Stadium Tour 3: It was all about Grave DIgger, Dragon, and the VP Racing Fuels' Mad Scientist in El Paso. One of the three would walk out as the Tour Champion, and that someone was none other than Charlie Pauken. Proving why he deserved to win it, Pauken double downed in the first show, but Lee O'Donnell would prevent it from happening a second time this afternoon. Tour Champion: Grave Digger - Charlie Pauken

Well I can see where they come from, in my position at work, we have to do that kind of stuff a lot, because it keeps people coming back, appeal to what they want to hear and they will be back every single weekend. It's how you continually make profits and expand the business. Kissing butt is the easiest way to do that. XD
I'd be lying if I said my reaction to that last sentence wasn't this:
-
TWO TIMES IN ONE SHOW. I'd be taking notes if I were Meents...
Also, Saigon and Scooby tied for 2nd in Freestyle. BOOYAH.

So Disney XD recently posted the first look for their upcoming DuckTales reboot. Just a few hours later, it was (and still is as of the time I'm posting this) on YouTube's Trending at #1.
A lot of people have been waiting for this ever since it was first announced nearly a year ago. But what I'm wondering is...
...did we just find a reboot...done RIGHT? If so, I applaud them for putting shame on Cartoon Network.

OK, since you guys almost killed the thread again, I guess I'll bring something up.
Tyler Menninga is now the points leader on TTS East. Shall we rejoice?

OI -- EITHER HE THOUGHT OF THAT HIMSELF OR HE JUST NOTICED ME.

May I also mention, the Mad Scientist mascot came out when Lee O'Donnell won Racing in Anaheim. It was the usual match up between him and the GOAT.

now now children they both had fantastic runs, but jester driver matt said so himself he is happy with finishing second to sud on his insta, but i am super proud of matt and where he has come, he will certainly become one of the top drivers in due time.
It won't be any surprise if he makes it into "Young Guns", but I doubt he'll win. I'm hoping Becky will get it (If for some reason FELD looks down on her AGAIN).
-
...now I know why Brianna Mahon didn't go for it in Houston.
Another thing I forgot to mention, by landing the backflip, Matt Pagliarulo would've been considered the Freestyle WINNER in Oakland...had it not been for Ryan Anderson.
-
A lot of surprising things happened this weekend in terms of stadiums:
In Houston, Colton Eichelberger pulled off one of, if not the craziest freestyle ever performed at NRG Stadium. Sure, it wasn't a 40, but 38 seems fair.In San Diego, nobody dared touched the mustang on one of the ramps, but Charlie Pauken barely missed it. Not to mention he got the Double Down.
In Jacksonville, JR McNeil decided to bring back the blue Razin' Kane body, most of the field got at least a 30 in Freestyle on both shows, and Rosalee Ramer went for her first backflip outside of the WF, but failed despite coming so close to landing it.
In Oakland, one of the tours ended with Ryan Anderson becoming the series champion. Like Zonar mentioned, Matt Pagliarulo went for his first ever backflip, which was the most unexpected moment of the night and the 4th driver that nobody expected to do one.
Nonetheless, 2nd weekend in a row where all stadium shows were awesome. The fact that there will only be one next weekend has me amazed at how fast this month is going, and how it's already almost time to start preparing for the WF.

Ehhhh... I dunno especially since Scott is the reigning YGS champ. Now does Jon deserve a spot? Hell yeah, he's one of the all time best. But never doubt FELD to pull some weird stuff
Not to mention Dustin Brown has also been behind the wheel of Dragon some times this year, even getting a few victories out of it. Both deserve a berth in my opinion, but the question is; which one of them will get Dragon since Scott hasn't been active this year?
-
Is it me, or did the host of Houston literally read through us yapping about Colton's insane run? Look what he put at the event notes:
"Linsey Weenk and Lucas Oil Crusader continues to lead the FS1 East Championship series, even though he lost to Grave Digger in the final round of racing! And, Colton Eichelberger in Max-D put on a freestyle clinic and had 55,000+ fans ON THEIR FEET! Don’t be surprised if he is nominated for freestyle of the year!" -
Who ever thought that this guy would go for another backflip after two years ago...only to get the exact same result.
