  1. Oakland has me anticipated and nervous at the same time tonight, mainly because it's the last show for FS1 West.

If Ryan Anderson wins, that's a berth wasted since we all know he's going to the WF no matter what happens.

If Coty Saucier wins, it'll be the third time he's competing in the WF, but also a possible waste of a berth.

If Carl Van Horn wins, it'll be the first time in 4 years that he competes in the WF.

....you clearly know who I'm rooting for.

  2. I saw someone else do this, and it's been a while since someone last did one, so I might as well give this a shot myself.

Reverse Stoppie: This is a trick in which you must hit the brakes at the perfect time, otherwise your truck will flip onto its hood very easily. If you hit a small ramp and end up going on the front two tires, go into reverse as quick as possible. Then, VERY LIGHTLY tap the throttle to make your truck drive backwards while on the front two tires. If you know you're going to hit the ramp behind you again, be extra careful while doing so.

Off-the-Ramp Wheelie: It's a name I came up with for a special kind of wheelie. No, not the kind that Colton Eichelberger occasionally does in arenas, but a different kind. When in an arena or a stadium, slowly drive up a flat ramp, and stop in the middle of the ramp. Go into reverse, and hit the throttle lightly. Your truck will go airborne, which is how it's supposed to work. If not, the ramp may be too flat or too small. DO NOT go full throttle when driving off the ramp. This will cause your truck to flip onto its hood. Instead, hit the throttle lightly off the ramp, and right when the back two tires hit the floor, hit the brakes and go back into drive as quickly as possible. Drive at full throttle to pull off a wheelie in a different kind of way than others.

Both tricks can make for great wow moments in fun runs, and in an arena fun run, can potentially score you a good amount of points in wheelies or freestyle.

  3. This may actually be the first weekend of the year where out of all of the stadium shows, NONE were a disappointment.

In Indianapolis, more than half of the field got at least a 30 in Freestyle, with Brianna Mahon coming so close to her first stadium win and Chuck Werner doing a corkscrew.

In Houston, Marc McDonald finally beat out Adam Anderson in the Championship Race, and Freestyle saw the first tie breaker of the year where an official had to make a decision as to who was the rightful winner.

In Anaheim, Carl Van Horn made a comeback in Freestyle by winning it after losing in the Championship Race.

In Minneapolis, most of the field did relatively well in Freestyle, with Matt Buyten having a strong run for his first time there.

    Alrighty then.

Chuck's way of saying, "You thought your so-called "corkscrew" was unique to you, McQueen?"

Indy was badass.  The first two runs were so-so and then things went from 0 to 100 super quick.  Morgan won freestyle, but like five or six others absolutely tore it up, including Brianna Mahon who did the best run I'd ever seen from her (and almost doing consecutive backflips).  Props to everyone showing up and putting on super good shows.

It feels so relieving to me to hear that one of my favorite drivers, as well as one of my favorite trucks, is finally going all out every weekend and try to match up with the kings of the field. Is it me, or is she starting to become the Scott Buetow of the female drivers?

  5. I just recently used a breakable Max-D in the Max-D 2016 pack found here:

Problem is, whenever I break a tire, instead of it coming off, it just becomes dislocated and spins like crazy. How do I fix it so that the tires are able to break off?

  6. What I mean is that instead of bringing in the usual crew to Toronto (Tom Meents, Jim Koehler, Candice Jolly etc.), they give us a lineup that is completely different, and most of the lineup is competitors that may be able to do great in arenas, but really don't stand a chance against some of the other competitors in there, such as Ryan Anderson, Coty Saucier, Carl Van Horn and Mike Vaters II. I mean yeah there is the wheelie competition, but let's be honest; with a track like that, do you really think ANY OF THEM would be able to truly impress?

  7. OK, so after finding the input and changing the rear steer to Q and E like you did (I felt that would be the easiest way), the things that normally happen when you press Q and E occur whenever I hold down either button. Which commands do I have to change to resolve this issue?

  8. I recently re-downloaded Rigs of Rods 0.37 for my Windows 10 laptop that I got for Christmas. However, whenever I hold on to F2 while turning, the brightness of my screen is lowered instead of the rear steer activating, and when I hold on to F1 while turning, nothing happens. What can I do to fix this issue?

  9. As much as I am disappointed to see Damon go, Todd going into Monster Energy could be great; seeing as how calling him a beast in racing and freestyle is not a good enough name to call him, those guys could finally win a world championship this year. If he's coming to MetLife once again this year, then I honestly couldn't be more excited to see what he's got in store for his new identity.

  10. Monster Trucks comes out in theaters on Friday, and I'm wondering what you guys are thinking about it.

As most of us have officially called it, the movie's receiving negative reviews.

i personally think Monster Trucks is going to be this year's definition as to why seeing movies released in January is usually a bad idea (Last year's being Norm of the piece of crap).

So....you guys seeing it? Your thoughts beforehand?

Pretty sure the state shut down the Izod Center. There's no reason to do an arena show in a city you already do two stadium events at.

    1. As a guy who normally goes to MetLife Stadium to see Monster Jam, I can confirm that the state did indeed shut down the IZOD Center due to financial issues.

    2. I was about to hammer you for what you said after that first sentence due to me reading it wrong at first, but I see your point. East Rutherford is the only city MJ has and currently goes to annually that had both a stadium and arena event.
