I bought it off a guy who owns a drag car here in Houston. Runs clean. They guy didn't want to part out the car, but I talked him out an engine. mdemko Posted October 4, 2011 Author Share Posted October 4, 2011 Little update. After posting on mayhem, it turns out I do not have a 500 caddy. What I bought was a 540 Merlin. I took the block to a machine shop and had the cylinder walls honed and got the block back Friday. Next step is to take it to an engine shop( I'm thinking HP racing engines here in Houston). I'll post picks of it along with the dyno sheet when I get the chance. I also purchased a profab quick change and 2 ZF's. Adam or Ryan... If y'all see this, what do y'all know about ZF's?
