Need help with Ps3 controller configuring

So I got a PS3 controller that i have connected to my laptop. I download a program called MotionJoy which is a driver that can recognize the controller and is did just that. The problem that I have is i don't know how to configure the buttons on the controller with the actions in the game. PS3 controllers are very hard to get working with ROR. I had mine working for awhile. I can't remember exactly what i did to get it to work but i know i had to leave my PS3 on and basically restart the computer everytime i joined a game to make it work right. Theres a way to make a PS2 controller work, but you'll need an adapter, its much easier.

Or purchase a cheap Gamestop Wired Xbox controller and download my map I have uploaded here. It is pretty much plug in and play at that point.
