Tom P.
All i wanted to know was if i really do suck at driving regular cars in ror, didn't mean to start an argument. Yeah I normally have no problem driving other vehicles.
dman24
Depends, what kind of car are you trying to drive? If it is RWD (rear wheel drive) then, due to the horrid differential code, if you put your foot to the floor, all you are gonna do is gigantic donuts (even with TC). To be honest I think the diff code is dead on, Every trophy truck and pre-runner I have in game is modded to RWD and drives great. Not really trying to call anyone out on this but the people who make them are way off on the traction settings.
JackMProductions
If you're using pedals or a controller, RWD cars are fine. I guess they're not meant for "all or nothing" throttle unless your rhythm is good. It just takes practice.
Crazyboy335
You're just not used to driving the cars. Since most are driven by two wheels, go into the truck code. Find meshwheels or meshwheels2, then find the number after 9999,4. Change that to a 1 (if it's at 0 already). material 0.335, 0.20, 0.205,14,72,74,9999,4,0,3,48,86000,1150, l, banditwheelGT_F.mesh burnwheelband 0.335, 0.20, 0.205,14,73,75,9999,4,0,5,48,86000,1150, r, banditwheelGT_F.mesh burnwheelband set_beam_defaults 2150000, 200, 25000000, 3000000000, 0.02, gavrilinvis, 0.0 set_node_defaults -1, 0.99, -1, -1 0.335, 0.20, 0.205,14,80,81,9999,1,1,51,55,82000,1150, l, banditwheelGT_R.mesh burnwheelband 0.335, 0.20, 0.205,14,83,84,9999,1,1,53,55,82000,1150, r, banditwheelGT_R.mesh burnwheelband ;axles ;w1(80 81), w2(83 84), d(s) Clear and regen cache and you're ready.
