Simpleton
Unfortunately I don't remember how exactly I got it in the game, but the only good, full replacement I've found is Fat Alfie's HUD. Definitely the best I've come across and way better than the basic ROR display. Check out this link and if you can't figure it out (i couldn't at first), just search around the thread. http://www.rigsofrods.com/threads/66628-Fat-Alfie-HUD?p=722387&viewfull=1#post722387

Tom P.
Yeah thats what I use. In Rigs of Rods .39 and up, they use a very similar HUD for the default HUD. Also made by Alfie

MonsterJam2008
Won't let me add the files to the texture.zip. How can I get past this?
Chris Hamilton
Move that texture zip to the desktop, then put the required files in. Wait for it to finish compressing, then place it back into the resources folder. Don't start the game without that textures zip as it will most likely not work without it. Did that, now all i get is a black bar with half the icons it normally has. Edit: figured it out!!! the .overlay files go in the overlay .zip. .materials go in materials.zip and the rest go in the textures .zip.
