Xbox Controller Question

Edit: After going back and installing Marks map for Xbox controller set up it works well for me except for 2. Is there a way to change the Rear steering to the unused Analog Stick? And is there a way to slow the steering down? I like the way it is on Keyboard but i like the more throttle control of the controller. Thanks

nope that is the pro and con of the controller is that its miles faster then the keyboard

dang....I like the slower steering of the Keyboard, it works well for me... guess ill give it a day or two and if i dont like it switch back. Thanks Kozak

Find the steering commands in your map and add this to the end:

 

+LINEARITY=0.50 

 

It should look like this when finished:

 

 

TRUCK_STEER_LEFT               JoystickAxis         0 1 LOWER+LINEARITY=0.50 

TRUCK_STEER_RIGHT              JoystickAxis         0 1 UPPER+LINEARITY=0.50

 

You could also just use .37.117 and the steering will be as slow as the keyboard.

hmm i tried that in 38 (The Version i use to just bash around) and no effect...ill try 37.117 and see how that works at least for leagues

Ok so redownloaded 37.117 and the steering is slow like i like but its got no Self Centering at all....even after changing it to 400%. I think these are signs i should stick with a keyboard till i can afford a wheel

The linearity worked for me in .37.126. And also self centers for me in .117

hmm weird...steering speed is perfect in 37.117 but without self centering makes it hard to really drive and have fun...If it would self center in 37 and slow the steering down in 38 both versions would be perfect for leagues and just bashing around for me.

Sorry for a bump, but I am having the same problem as DDT. No self centering. Any help?
