RobbieMilburn Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 So, my current laptop which is getting old and was cheap to begin with is starting to crap out on a regular basis. So, what are some recommendations for a solid gaming laptop at a reasonably budget price? Aka I'm not a hardcore gamer, so I'm not going to pay a grand for a laptop. I haven't bought a laptop in years and I have no idea what to look for or what is good these days. So, I figured I'd come to the geniuses of SM for advice.
AaronLurie Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 I've got the Lenovo y510p. Very solid, gets around 100 fps maxed out on settings with a high quality truck on a high quality track, but it will push 200 with the settings slightly lower. At $819, it's kinda pricey, but well worth it. http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/lenovo/y-series/y510p/
RobbieMilburn Posted May 3, 2014 Author Posted May 3, 2014 Well, my laptop just completely crapped itself. So, purchase may come sooner than thought.
