  3. In an official event, when you come around the last corner you could always trigger NOS using the Alt+F4 combo, This only works in a offical event, it wont work offline* Please do not try.
  4. CONGRATS GUYS 1 Issue down, http://redmine.rigsofrods.com/issues/840 1 More to go

  6. MY PRETTY PRETTY PROFILE!

  7. Come on Guys..... I know there are alot more than 18 people who wants this game to be better....... We've really gotta put up some big numbers to get something noticed..... Please spread this to everyone you know who could help out.
  8. well if you going to spend more and pay 169.99 you can get more fps with nvidia..... http://www.tomshardw...i-top,2944.html http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814162084
  9. AMD has the edge in applications and multithreading.. however these processors are not for gaming... Look some benchmarks up on these. Save $25 to lose a large ammount of FPS? Sandy bridge (intel) is known for the overclocking capabilitys of the chip as well, some reports are 40% OC with decent cooler with OC tweaks right in motherboard. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/288?vs=203
  10. As fake as this looks, its 100% accurate, you can watch lots of videos on it. SSD is solid slate drive, it was a hard drive that has no moving parts and is pretty much like a giant flash drve thats permanatly attached to your comptuer, but uses sata cables to conncet to the computer instead of SUB allowing for more speed/delivery
  11. Over All looks like you have a great build, just some of my tips/hints if you wanna try em out good, if not I understand, Its about $70 difference without the SSD.
  12. For a Great build I've created you a little cart here.... Ive listed these in terms of importance.. Ram will have the least effect on overall performance, but a great asset to own when using applications such as photoshop or even surfing the internet. PSU (The current power supply in your PC is only 250w.. This is an absolute must to replace if you are going to upgrade your computer.) Cooler Master 460 w (providing more then enough power for graphics card and the option to have multiple hdd/cd/dvd drives.) Ive had multiple problems with lower end power supplies not being able to pump the juice needed, arriving doa, or going out after 7-8 months. (roswill, logisys) http://www.newegg.co...N82E16817171046 GPU (After reveiwing some benchmarks on your current graphics card, you are still running an intergrated card that scored a whopping 39 on the benchmark tool I was looking at. The card listed score 1617. This would give you SUBSTANTIAL gains in terms of performance over what you are currently seeing.) Best Deal Ive found for great output/performance. PCI-e (All versions of PCI-e a backwards compatible) minimal differnce in performance. Radeon HD 6750 1 GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI-e 2.1 http://www.newegg.co...ID=3962334&SID= RAM (Based on the specs you posted, you actually have (2) 512 mb sticks of ram inside your computer giving you 1gb of ram... now with that being said even tho you have 1 gb already its running at an extremly low Mhz(333....YIKES!) The best configuration possible to reduce ram controller stress and speed would be (2) 2gb sticks ran in dual channel http://www.newegg.co...N82E16820231148 - This is the same ram I run in my current system. Never looked back, low cas latency with heat spreaders that will allow for som OC'ing if needed. TOTAL 204.97 with shipping.
  13. although I would agree with bob's post prices for components are at a all time low, not sure where you are shopping.... As for giving general suggestions for a graphics card You have several key components to look at. Thats why I asked for a model number for the computer. The power supply comes in to play..as well as the motherboard... this will designate how the ram is dispersed between the ram slots. Another thing with that processor being a 4000+ AGP was still around at this time, so just picking a random graphics card might not be the best idea if the slot is pci, pci-e, or AGP. Antoher thing is to remember the type of ram the computer will need I.e ddr, ddr2. The last thing to check is the power that the psu provided can push out and let other things function properly...some cards will require power dongles others draw strait from the motherboard.... Jrob please provide more info on your computer as requsted before.
  14. Great work, Ive updated the current totals and we saw a 236.36% increase in the ammount of votes, If we could hit that 30 marker, I really think it would be a feature that would be extremly hard to ignore.
  15. Please Register on this site and vote these two issues to be impimented in future ROR verions. More votes = more priority! http://redmine.rigso....com/issues/840 Fixes the stall while using rear steer. http://redmine.rigso....com/issues/736 Giving the ability to change the steering speed based on direct input/slider. 20. This is a better solution either you can use the feature on the forum to recover your password, for the other account. If you do not know how to do that please follow this link. http://sim-monsters.com/index.php?app=core&module=global&section=lostpass Use your old account, there is no need for multiple accounts. Thank You.
  21. Couldnt really offer any support for that older pack. ROR mj has been gone almost a year now. Maybe someone on here could help you out.
  22. Mdemko hit the nail on the head.... RoR is the absolute limiting factor of what can be done. For us its ultimately our user base too. As most people cant afford $1000+ gaming computers we have to tone the implementations down as well. Eventually we can implement voxels and deformable terrain, which has been shown in a couple tech demos already for ogre. I have seen the use of flexbody props in use, and they work fairly well. once again it comes down to the lag factor.
