Yes this is the show and that is the picture from Sundays wheelie competition, I have speed shot camera so I capture the whole thing.

This was in 2007, and Steve Simms is driving it, an Wiggins was in Mopar Magic at this show, Simms took the racing win that night against Mopar.

Funny you bring up limiting straps, The arrows are pointing at the front beams that have the rope option, and operate as limiting straps.

Well here is a new axle housing I have been working on. It carries over the hub area, the 3rd member, and the mounting points from the old one, but the housing is completely new. Plus it includes the split shield around the brake rotor, i still need to add the brake caliper. Thanks to RKM for suppling some close up photos. And to LF for the brake rotor texture.

You know I am going to say one thing here Monster Trucks are NOT fair in the real world Bounty Hunter has 1700HP and Digger has 1475HP do they complain No. It is in fact the driver that make the difference. I could give bounty hunter the 17000 torque in game but it comes down to "can you drive it and control it" You may have a faster truck but it doesn't mean anything unless you can drive it. I know that some people will not want the change and others will, but I am trying to shoot for a little more realism and it would also be a challenge. And just to say this, aren't we gong for simulation here?

To be honest, I have raced against someone as a test, the handling barley changes a thing, i still got beat and vise versa, it just makes the truck more friendly to the driver.

I am for it Casey, and as you already know I have been working on the Black Stallion truck and have others that I am working on to. I have mainly changed the engoption and shocks on the trucks, in an attempt to give each trucks its own personality. And that is my suggestion, if people would like the trucks to react different to one another, as we know that would add to the realism factor.

The game does not look bad, and they are heading in the right direction. I will most likely play it for fun and play ROR for fun and the realism. That depends on your perspective, I like both. Both have there ups and downs but are fun to play none the less.

eh i tried, btw that is me feathering the throttle not the truck it self. And they came from a monster truck.

Well here is some info on Black Stallion that i have been messing with, The front sway bars (which are beams) have been moved to very front of the truck and the front has been lowered, plus some settings adjustments, like enogoption, and shocks, trying to get the trucks to act some what like there real life counter parts. Plus has a new set of sounds. Thanks to the people who have helped with some testing, the biggest change is sliding is a little easier but can be over powered easily, and the truck tops out quicker. You can see the lower front here As you can see the front sway bar is now in the front, and is getting a new one to look more like the real truck. Here is video of it to, with the new settings, and sounds.

I honestly like both generations of monsters, the old days just had the uniqueness in trucks which was nice. Yes i do like the high flying action, I love the adrenaline rush, (go carts, and my truck have seen airtime.) But it just something about the old days I like.
