  1. Been thinking of adding the 3D skull to the back of SUD. I'll make it a prop so that way you guys can remove it to gain a bit of FPS. This is the only picture I have sadly.

bake normals from that and make a lowerpoly model, that looks obscenely overpoly

  2. Here's the entite debut if Dragon in one gif

I honestly and objectively believe that if i was put in a truck entirely blind and thrown into a stadium, i'd do better than that guy, and he's have an entire season to get not poo. How much money did he pay to be there

Also is it me or did they narrow up the vette body for a crd

  3. ... They obviously fixed it since, but it's a reoccurring problem that needs to be dealt with more in depth.

I am using detached and impersonal words to better express my displeasure at your use of detached and impersonal words to the express intention of making yourself more at home in the professional world through obfuscation and other words one would find in a press release and i express enthusiasm for the concept of you ceasing this activity for the foreseeable millennia ahead

  4. BUT YUR GONNA GET BAHNEDE

in all seriousness though, you could do it the slow boring way and hex edit with the game and pull the files, which i'm not well versed on and if the game is made with proprietary tools you're not getting far. good luck importing models in a format only two people have the tools for.

The other way is by using stuff like 3DX ripper, which rips everything being rendered at that frame. So if any models are off axis, they're ripped off axis. it also comes as one big clump and sometimes that turns into a vert salad like it did here

So yeah, really ripping isn't really a good way to go about it but it has it's uses. 3dx ripper is great for getting textures out though, i've had loads of fun just studying textures from console games, picking it apart and seeing how it works. But for the most part, at the end of the day it's really usually just easier to make something from scratch

  5. What?

Also looking at that model, it actually kind of sucks. They even buggered the normals on the front side's shot.

And for all the poly savings they were doing, four vert tubes on the chassis and conserving faces by joining edgeloops down, that perfectly flat surface has five edgeloops and then no bevels on the 90 degree angle edge on the outside. bloody hell that takes skill to bodge that up.

I've always wanted to do that body but never had much reference show up. If anyone can find a magic side ortho i'd love to do it

  6. Those are in cavi's hands right now. He said he's gonna do them up soon.

And weirdly there's not much reference for war wizard. And either this image is a lie or LF could only get the LOD models out of POD

  7. ROR's depth of feild really doesn't look too good. i've yet to see it actually fuzz objects far away and have stuff sharp close up. I think ror's camera system just doesn't quite work as it should for DOF. If you're photoshopping it anyway, i'd just duplicate the image, blur that and then alpha mask that in by hand

  8. Actually now that i look at it, you'd probably do well to just do some new exausts from scratch. No way could six pipes feed into a tip that small

    IMAG0155.jpg

Do something like this, maybe even with a collector head's bulge at the end, also i'd angle the pipes coming out of the head, looks really weird having them go in at 90 degrees.

And chop down those plug wires, they look ridiculously high poly

  9. 8GSnp.jpg

    Smoothing issues here

Also there's a poly density issue too

    8GSpU.jpg

The massive exhaust headers have big blocky tails with only two edgeloops on them, while the sparkplugs are super duper highpoly . That's just weird, axe those wires down a lot. and mark edges on the exaust too, looks all lumpy and bleh without it
