Over the years, Monster Jam and Monster X Tour had made obstacles that looked incredible. In this thread, post any obstacle, car stack, dirt mound, etc. that stood out to you. Extra Challenge: Post who used the obstacle the best?

There's never been "Perfect Breakables" They're either Ash's settings, come plenty bendable, or fragile as hell. Someday someone will make good breakables. We just have to wait.

I took all of my recent tracks down due to some people having problems with them. Now that you have brought up that it works in .37 and not .38 that may have been the problem.  Let me do some research and once its sorted out ill get them back up for download.

Hopefully this file gets approved so I can use it.

That's a V3 truck. We use V4. Unless you are able to convert it to V4.

Showed this off in the screenshot thread but I also haven't shown my World Finals 6 recently.  It's nearing completion, might add a few more details then it will be up for download!

So far during the year the days got better and life got better. I've been having troubles with online stuff and I'm a little bored of ROR. I won't be gone for long, I'll be back soon (a month or 2, who knows?). On the bright side, I'll be on the forums from time to time and see what's going on. Hopefully this break won't last as much as my last break. (3 years was my last break. You guys wouldn't care though.). For now, I'll see you guys soon.

I am gonna make a custom freestyle, just so racing isn't all alone.

I cant believe i started a armada of sarcastic things. I meant to say if hes mentally ok. 

I liked the year St. Louis had the absolutly massive car pad. You didn't see that anywhere else and the tracks just looked cooler back then. Yeah, the trucks didn't go insanely high, but they still got massive air for what they had. 2003-2010 was my thing. Loved WF8, 9, 11 for some reason, 10 and 7 was the first one I ever saw on TV.

I liked the car pad too. tracks were really exciting back then. Sometime it would be exciting just to wait and see what the track layout is for fs. World Finals 7 was my first monster jam show too.

I miss the days when seeing a truck rollover or make an amazing save actually catch you by suprise (2010 and back) now a days its just like, oh another rollover, oh another backflip, oh big air. Its just lost its value it used to have IMO

Crashes and saves caught me by surprise [back then], but, it was kinda annoying to see the trucks freestyle and not crash. Sometimes the crash is just lame (Example: The truck tips over on a slow and tight turn) or none of the trucks performed a save. That was the only problem I had with monster jam (Except at Philly in 2010 when they had a cash prize for what crash was the best. That's why there were a crapton of crashes.

I honestly could care less what a track looks like. If I can walk away from a show saying I had a good time, that's all that matters.

When you're at a show its fun no matter what. on TV its a whole other story.

I'm not trying to be rude, but, if you want mods, get them and learn for yourself. I learned how to play by starting out not knowing what to do and i improved over time. Find some track and trucks and get started. if you need any help just message me or use this forum topic. 

Looking back at how much I have done, i honestly dont have much to do. All it needs are a few more banners, couple more props, freestyle version which I believe is close to being finished (nevermind, the FS layout is finished), and track paint. So we'll see. If I am free next weekend I will finish the freestyle version and lend out a beta.

And Henry, do what you want dude.

It just runned at Monterrey and Mexico City events last year so yeah...

 

May like to say that last one is a custom im using for ROR - MO... and that all was handpainted on the New Insigators

2002-2011 was the best for me. Unique colors, cool obstacles, (My favorite being the van stack-to-dirt-hill thing in St. Louis 2010.), and exciting freestyles. I'm fine with backflips, it's just they need to vary it. Such as use a container or a stack of cars like what they do in monster x tour. This years set of tracks were meh. Atlanta was cool, so was Houston and St. Louis.

Wow. I'm glad this might happen. By the way, we don't need to make trucks specifically for the pack. It can be old work, new work, etc. etc.

great idea. I don't think we could do that though because *bla bla bla bla*. Kidding, but I do think that would be be cool. With Chris's V4 update pack an Edy's as well, there's already a handful of trucks that are made. We would just need other people to help out as well.

As I keep seeing these awesome custom trucks and these revamped trucks, I had an idea. (NOTE: Please don't lash out on me.)

I was thinking we (as in the community) could make a 'community pack'. Not a V5 pack. What I mean is that we could put revamped trucks in and awesome custom trucks in the pack. Nobody needs to work on trucks to put them in the pack (unless you really want to). As more revamped trucks and more custom trucks come in, we'll update the pack and put those in.

I kinda know you guys will be like, 'great idea. I don't think we could do that though because *bla bla bla bla*. But I really hope that my idea works. Place your interest and opinions here.

So I've been busy this weekend. Credit to Kozak for taking a high resolution pic of the side at Vegas. Don't know if you guys ever noticed this, but I remade the body for the final time (I swear it's the last time). Interior will be switched to fiberglass eventually.
