oh Jesus Christ, just what we need, an anti-FELD circle jerk thread
Its not anti-FELD. Plus, there was a huge talk about RII use ad someone said to make a seperate thread so here it is.
-
Since we had a large coversation on RII use, here you go. This thread is for things that Monster Jam had done wrong or is doing wrong. Or you can post some controversial monster truck moments here.
Post away!

Sorry to bump this, but, i think this project is dead.

Bo that is not entirely fair, for someone who spent his rookie campaign in small arenas, getting put out on a big floor like that is going to provide another learning curve. The truck landing rear heavy could be a multitude of things, driver not used to the speed into obstacles that a stadium like floor provides, suspension not quite right or not used to tapping the brakes to help take a set. Lining up hits is irrelevant in my opinion, I would rather see someone carry more momentum, more hits (even if that means they are smaller) then watching someone with slower floor speed, fewer hits but bigger air because they took the time to line their truck up.
I can agree with that. Its all about the momentum. But you have to take big hits too. I mean, plenty of hits but not much air won't do a lot. Not only that, but I feel that lininng up the truck and landing right should be something to be good at too. Like, you can't be hitting the jumps weird and/or you can't be nosing over or landing on the rear on a majority of the jumps you do in freestyle. It's all about momentum and control.

In a way, yes. I have done it before just by simply messing with the beams and nodes on the Notepad. As a matter of fact, i figured out ways to make flexbodies and breakable trucks. Sadly, I lost my files for those trucks. But it is possible, I will tell you that. I think there's something about it in the Rigsofrods.com forums. I'm also sure that other people could help.

Can we please? This thread has been so derailed it jumped onto another set of tracks and derailed off of those
And now for your daily dose of truck porn
Good god thats sexy

Look: I think its perfectly fine to hit the gas if there is actually a chance to save the truck (Even if its leaning on an obstacle to where it might get back up). But, to stamp on the pedal when the truck is definitely not getting back up is very unsafe and could hurt the trucks real bad and possibly the drivers. I mean, if one part of it is broken or something is wrong, we could have another incident like Tacoma in 2009. It's just not good and the officials need to know how to properly use the RII

thanks to my Sirius satellite radio subscription running out I am stuck listening to the preview channel (generic overplayed pop crap) I got this song stuck in my head
May I suggest some of this to cheer you up?

Yes, cars are iconic to monster trucks and it's always nice to see some cars, vans, and even some buses and other crap on the track... but dirt is just flat out better for an even playing ground in all competitions. I can honestly go without cars at Monster Jam shows.
This i can agree with on some levels. But there should be at least a large/medium sized jump with cars involved.

WOOOOOOOW that kid is ridiculous... I have never heard such irrelevant opinions in my life I mean I appreciate the dirt ramps that give off a lot of air but we do need to see some crush cars back in MJ
Yeah. I agree. I miss the double bus stacks van stacks.

I've been listening to a lot of songs like this.
I'd like to hear what u think. I think songs like these are cool because they are all different in sound design and such and they all have that 'dark' feel.
-
I'm not sure why, but I'd like to hear what people think of these songs. It's cool to hear what people think of my music no matter if its love or hate. Feel free to take your time and listen to these.

Uhhh....

Colin McRae Vision is now checked off the list.
Don't have a preview of the next paint yet, still don't know what I want to do. I'm starting to look more at NASCAR and World Rallycross for a couple paints out of those.
How about the Subaru Rally Team USA Travis Pastrana paint? I can send a pic to u for a reference.
-
Annnddd there's another one. From Miami Oklahoma. I feel like it slapped together, but I like it.
Too much of the black. needs a good balance of orange. But i loveit noneoftheless

Steer Clear has found it's way ingame. Really proud of how it turned out, definitely one of my best paints to date in my mind.
And I've started on another one.
Original:
Nick Moss is my hero.
Wow u should totally do a Travis Pastrana rally paint. I forget which year it was, but it was the white, blue, and neon yellow subaru wrx.
