I havent had it exported or anything yet so no testing has gone into it so you may be right and my eyes could be wrong but I went through just before taking these pics to adjust any insane angles. They SHOULD be fine but again no real tests have been done so I could be wrong. I appreciate the feedback!

Just a tip...always export and test BEFORE you paint the track. Save yourself from the time and frustration from having to do redo it again.

Alrighty so normally I don't really post here, but I feel I need to share this for a good reason (sorry if you've already seen it).   I need opinions on how to make Dragon's paint better.  It's good, but I'm definetely looking to improve it.  Thinking perhaps the dragon's skin texture needs the most help.  Does anyone have good ways to improve it?  I'm open to all suggestions, and will consider/try all of them!

******(side note: I only take credit for the paint)

It’s a longshot but try getting ahold of @acdcfan56. One of the best painters this site has seen, although I don’t think he does it anymore.

Shooting for this to be my best and most accurate truck to date!

(a lot of new props coming soon after the release of this truck!)

And most detailed please 😎. Long overdue for this one

I get where you're coming from, as it definitely looks like a ton of people, but I've been trying to model the stadium as accurately as possible. The stadium has the sections accurately laid out with the exact number of rows in each section. The number of seats in each row are decently accurate but not perfect though. When it's done, it will represent a crowd of around 50,000 people.

Compared to standard stadium models we've been using, it does look like an unnatural amount of people.

I also appreciate the offer. This project is a lot of work and I'll definitely let you know when I need some extra help.

Don’t burn yourself out man. WF15 ended it for me

@AaronLurie (sorry I forgot to quote lmao)

Okay first of all I want to say I envy how fast you can get a track near completion in Blender. Like cmon, first the Hotwheels tour, now this?! Also the scaling looks pretty accurate, I'm excited.

Anyways, I know you've been doing this way longer than me, and are overall much better, but there's a few things I want to say. Obviously, there's the dirt texture, but rock already pointed that out and whatever. Maybe try baking the dumpsters and some of the tarps too (or at least darkening it), like Maxdman does; gives it those nice shadows. Also my really old pirate ship that's on Tampa 2002 should still be up to date (I know it's really old and not the best, just an option), it should be modeled after the 2016 one. Idk if I would even include or just go and make a new one, up to you. Finally, the 3d fans were something I've been trying to work on for a while but never really got to the point where I could fill a whole stadium with them like shown here. I tried actually in a Tacoma track I've never showed off here, but the transparency had that clipping error and looked awful. There is another code out there that can fix this though, I think some of the "official" ror tracks had it in in their material files (I was playing around with it a few weeks ago). Maxdman asked about it in the help section a few months ago too.

That's my two cents, now I kinda want to make a replica track lol still prob won't

The code I used that fixed the clipping in my wf15 is in that thread he posted.

'Dance Dance Revolution.' That's a lot of fun when you're having a dinner party and you just want to be a little silly.

Still have a lot of work to do.

I know you can make a better texture than that Aaron! Sidenote, I’ve got a crowd texture that is better if you’d like. Comes with like 8-9 people. They have their own subfolders with like 20 images of the same person but moving about so with some photoshop and animated materials you can make the crowd move. Its something that I was starting to do before I quit so you’d be the first to have it done ;). Only downside is they are a little cartoony looking but thought I’d throw it out there if you’re interested.

Anyway you can hook me up with tips on how to render with textures, that'd be great 😉

Honestly man I forgot how to do it all. The rims were already mapped into the render from when i made them back in 2014. All i did was add a camera and a lamp for the lighting and a dark material for the tire and hit f12.

  9. Never thought I would post in here again, let alone make another set of tires. Took me awhile to remember how to use Blender again after not using it in 2 years lol. This is a set of Super Swamper TSLs. Looking at the renders I need to modify a few things but other than that I will attempt to create a paint for it......If I can remember how I made tire paints

well, its almost spooki day, and well... finished this junk

Sorry to be that guy but the body needs some modifying. It needs to be more bulky around the cab/windshield area. Also, not sure who made those coilovers, but i suggest remodeling them or atleast thin out the shock shaft. In my opinion as a whole they lack detail, but its up to you obviously. Otherwise, it looks good.
